Driver shaft recommendation

Looking for some driver shaft recommendations for my G400 Max. I have a stock Alta Cb stiff and also a Aldila Rogue Max 75x that plays at 45".

Alta CB goes way too left for me and Rogue Max, I dont feel like has great feel or enough kick.

I am playing Speeder 665 stiff, tipped 1/2" in fairways and modus 120 stiff in irons. SS 100-104 driver and 87-89 mph 6 iron. (Trackman).

I really like the Speeders I have in 815 alphas. They feel very stable and have a little bit of kick. I can swing freely and not worry about direction. What do you experts think?

I am sure you are going to get the "trying getting fit first" comments, and they would be correct.

Not a lot replaces in hand data, feel etc.

However from about 90 miles away. I would recommend

Based on what you use, you seem to prefer shafts with some kick in the middle. You're also right on the cusp of maybe trying an X-flex depending on your transition. Anything in the Mitsubishi, Aldila, or Fujikura "Blue" family would be good candidates or the Aldila Rogue Black. You can always track down another Speeder 665 if you already like that shaft, but pretty much anything that classifies itself as a "mid launch/mid spin" shaft would fit what you already like.

Just curious, have you tried the Ping Tour 65 or 75 shaft in stiff?? Available in Ping carts. Will play a bit shorter in length and I believe has been tipped already. Think thats right. I also have read on GWRX that it is an Aldila shaft along with the Alta. Good luck

If you like Speeders, I'd try any one of the 661 Speeder evolution series depending on your launch desires. I have a 661 Evolution II (low launch and spin) and a 661 Evolution III (mid launch and mid/low spin) and they are fantastic. If you like the 665, you'd love the 661 Evo series- a bit more pricey, but they are fantastic.

I read that evolution III is closest replacement for their current lines in their website. Do you have a preference on II and III? Any difference in feel?

I know their website says go get fit, but how the hell do you their shafts in head I want. None of these are available through PING. I guess I'll stop at Golf Exchange and Miles of Golf to see if they have any of these shafts. Tempted to just order a 665 or one of the 661 and tip it 1/2" like my fairways (I had them tipped additional (1/2").

Still getting conflicting info. Was Callaway Motore Speeder 665 a real deal shaft or made for? Any big differences between it and 661 evolution II or III?

Accra tour Z does not get nearly enough love. One of the best performing shafts i have ever gamed and the feel is flat out superb.

If you prefer a little more counter balance try the RPG model of the Tour Z. I used it for about half the season in my G400 Max. Took the left out of play completely for me.

I had an Accra shaft in an old driver. Cant remeber which model shaft. I remeber it was an m5. It was a little to stiff and leaked right. Small baby fade. I believe m4 would be better flex for me?

Are there any particular tour z models I should look for?
