anybody know the weight of a ping g400 max head? Standard stock weight?

looking ot change shafts and build a little shorter wondering what the head weight is. I just have a stock 10.5 with the tini x flex shaft.

That's forums and Facebook groups for you: dumbing down the world one post at a time. There is so much information out there, but people would rather just ask questions and wait to be spoon-fed answers rather than do their own research. Pretty sad, actually.

206w with or without adapter weight ?

Ping used to cite the weight with the head plus adapter.

On another forum the mod said all his demo heads were around 206 without the adapter. That seems pretty heavy

It’s irrelevant my friend. Install your shaft at the length you want and then stick it on a swingweight scale.

Add lead tape to get it back to where you want or if you have a bizarre aversion to lead tape like so many on this site, buy yourself a heavier weight for it.

Don’t overthink it.

That includes the adapter. The adapter is considered part of the head by most companies for weighting and building purposes.

Pings adapter is quite light compared to most however. It’s very basic. Not much to it. Callaway and Titleist are far bigger and heavier for example because of their cog system.

I'll weigh mine tonight. With the screw, without the adapter.

Mine is 202g with the adapter.

Just weighed mine on a digital scale. My 10.5 Max head is 200g with the screw and washer but no adapter.
