Ping Moxie i

I am looking for a New set of Ping Moxie I clubs. These things are like a unicorn. Anyone have any idea where I can pick up a set?? Google is yielding zero help.

Ping probably stopped producing these in favor of the new Ping Prodi G line. Would be my guess. But that wasn't a great set of clubs to being with. I would look at either Ping Prodi G or US Kids depends on the setup you are looking for.

Any thoughts on the Taylormade phenom?? He currently uses cobra but is out growing them quickly. Reason I was leaning towards the Ping is because he tried a set and liked them. The new ones are very expensive for something he will out grow quickly.

Maybe consider a USKG set. Readily available and pretty much unanimously considered better than Ping Moxie (or any other Big name OEM brand kids set). Remember you can buy individual clubs if you do not want to assemble a full set.

Golf is a expensive sport for a growing boy as we were going through clubs every 10-12 months until we hit 13 and adult clubs for my oldest. Our club has the Prodi G and they look legit (if we didn't have a surplus of kids clubs for my younger Son, I would definitely be interested). Keep in mind, if you buy 5 or more, Ping will do a one time lengthening, re-weight, etc... so you could get a few (2) years out of the investment depending on age and growth. Other options - Flynn golf is who we used and his clubs were great and very reasonable for the quality you received.

He is 10 been playing in a league and lessons since 6. First set was used USA Kids that he out grew fast. Now on a cobra set that is he outgrowing. We are keeping his driver, cobra bio cell. I just wanna get something that will help him not hurt.

US kids UL or Tour Series, or Flynns are your best bet. Go by height and done. Both brands are very specific about height (in approx 3” increments) where some of the OEM brands are grouped by age (ie- 8-11 years old). There is a big difference between 8 and 11. Remember that proper length fit is probably # 1 most important thing in helping him. As others have said, we’re upsizing about every 10-12 months. It’s painful, but as you said you want something to help, not hurt. Not having the right length will hurt). Best of luck, hope you’ve found some help on the thread.

If you want an easy to buy set of good clubs then get the US Kids Tour Series. Just make sure his swing speed align with what they say it should or he will struggle.
