They are good but no more amazing feel IMO than a carbon steel TP Mills, Byron or others milled from solid block of soft carbon.

Miura putters are just as wonderful as their irons and wedges. Same class.

I can't compare to TP Mills or Byron. I still ponder a TP Mills, just haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I can tell you this (in terms of feel and sound)...

Miura Putters > Cameron Putters

Miura Putters > Bettinardi Putters

Miura Putters > Toulon Putters

Miura Putters > Odyssey Putters

Miura Putters > Ping Putters

... The one knock I'd apply against Miura Putters would be lack of selection. I'd say Toulon probably has the best designs, but Miura's still feel better.

I own a KM007, KM008 and KM350. Just so happens the heel shaft and toe hang fit my stroke.

Anyone ever hit a Miura putter? They are forged with the same process as the irons, so naturally I would presume it feels amazing.

Putter design is all about feel in the players hands and confidence when you look down at address. The contact (if pure, center of the blade) usually feels about the same no matter which luxury brand you pick. when you start to incorporate face inserts with various materials it's another ball game all together. strictly speaking of milled soft carbon, all the top brands when struck in the middle feel the same. IMO

So I was curious and checked the Miura site. A LH KM-006 Satin and the price shipped is really surprising. I might have to pull the trigger on that because I probably can't find a similar putter at that price.

I'm a big fan of Miura products. I rolled a KM-009 for awhile last year and thought it felt really good, and I own almost 100 putters to compare it to (including Mills, Cameron's, Byron Morgan's, Lajosi's, Toulon, Yes, TM Black Series, Pings, Never Compromise, Betti, SeeMore, etc....).

The Miura felt very solid and I really liked the feedback I was getting from it. The only issue I had was, I wish they came in different weight options. For my taste, it was just a bit heavy for me but I like a putter that is lighter than the 350+g weights that seems to be popular today.

I too have a “few” Miura putters, with the 008 being my fave of the group. The 008 is a sweet putter no doubt, however I actually prefer the putter that Miurasan used as the 008’s inspiration, the Mac Forged Ironmaster 600, with the Ironmaster being the actual putter that the 008 was designed after, similar to Nakijima designing the 87’s after Hogan’s Personals, and while I do like the feel of the 008, I Looove the Big Mac.

You can find some pristine examples on the net, and they’ll run ya $250-300ish. That leather paddle grip is is one of my 2-3 favorite all-time grips. The 600 is firmer than the 088, as is the other Mac in my rotation, the Forged TFP 90-1, and I also gamed the TFP 90-4, which is VIP TFP’s 8802 design, however it’s a beautiful sound coming off of the Mac’s face!! Though the 600 is a shade longer heel/toe with its top line a tad thinner, its design back in the day was a very different take on a very vanilla subject, ie., the design of a heel shafted blade and only a few of us made the switch, though I always seemed to end up with my 8802 back in my bag, lol.

However between the 008 and either the Ironmaster 600 or the 90-1, it’s Mac all day every day. Miurasan copied it for a reason, and yea, I realize that he made lots design changes on his putter than ole Tommy boy did on his blade, however those Macs are incredible putters!!

I always loved the design rationale behind the “shorter(heel/toe length)” Mac putters, along with my Staff Tour Blade 59’s, which make my Mizzy MP-68’s & 4’s, along with my Staff Fg 100’s look like GI irons(the 59’s & 100’s are pictured below), lolol, because for me, less metal meant less area for me to hit the damn ball on and I found it easier to “nut” both putts and regular swung balls with the smaller faced clubs. This is why I also loved and bagged the Staff 8843, of which I’ve included a pic below, and you can see that there ain’t a whole lotta metal on either side of the ball,

because of its diminutive heel/toe length. As an aside, this 8843 was gifted to me by Sam right out of his bag after a round while he was up visiting Pete and he’d had, for him, a rough day on the greens, lol, and it was the last blade putter that he ever used competitively.

and the 600 is the darker putter, with the 90-1 being the third.

Anyhoo, all the Best with your Miura putter, as it’s a great stick!!
