Anybody know what putter Svensson is using? Maybe Newport Dual Balance with a long SuoerStroke grip? Not the Envroll that is in his last WITB.

Just said it was an arm lock in interview. Maybe ER2, not SC.

ER2 Armlock is my guess. Slowly, but surely we are seeing more and more guys armlocking.

I always thought it was silly when people said that the USGA might ban armlocked putters. But seeing how much tour usage they are getting, and with good results and lot's of exposure too, I can't help but think that the USGA probably doesn't like this development. Lol. Give the armlock two or three majors and I actually wouldn't be too surprised if they suddenly think all putters should be maximum 38" long, or something to that extent.

This is so true. 2 or 3 Majors and juniors taking up arm locking and it will be gone.

I hope they don't ban it. I think the next iteration may be a combo method- arm lock from 10 feet and in and counterbalance from longer range.

Arm lock is something that I never could get the handle on. It felt sooooo awkward.

That said I am a side saddle convert, and its probably more awkward to some than arm locking, so who am I to judge.

Interesting everyone thinks it’s a new idea. I made an armlock putter in 1993. Used it for about 6 months. It’s not a new idea. I could never lag worth a **** with it. Great from 20 feet or less though. So many things in golf are a trade off I guess.

I wish some of these companies would release these armlock putters. This particular er2 would be amazing, as well as the sik putter bryson uses.

Agree. I can’t bend my arm to suit that way or something. Or either I haven’t had one long enough. Or my left hand grip is wrong for it ? Either way it is near impossible for me to do. And I’m super flexible. It perplexes me honestly.
