Recent Putter Purchase (Custom Scotty Cameron)

I recently won a putter on eBay, I live in the UK and this was claimed to be shipped over from the USA.

Is there anyway to verify where the work may have been completed, just out of my own interest really. I know it has the Scotty custom shop sticker on but Imagine this could just be added by anyone?

It doesn't matter as I love the putter and its mainly nostalgia that i bought it as my junior days were spent tirelessly using this model of putter. I'm just general intrigued. I know very little with regards to custom scotty's etc.

Item description:

Scotty Cameron Laguna two putter a truly amazing one off putter I imported from the states, finished in black with lime green paint infill it really is a one-off,also stamped with custom shop junk yard dog and dollar stamps, shaft sticker also added, no head cover included. Uk bidders only any question please ask don’t miss out on this beautiful putter.

The sticker is on the topside of the shaft? That's really weird. Also I'm not sure why someone would send a putter to the custom shop to put a generic winn grip on it.
    Glove: ML
    Tees: 2 3/4
    Towel: white
    Repair tool: metal
Ball Marker: largest poker chip in the world
    Iron headcovers: wait, what?

    The feedback system is annoying

    Thanks for the reply!

Are they usually located in a specific place? I did find the grip strange myself with not saying 'SCOTTY CAMERON' down it.

I believe the stamps are authentic, but it's too hard to tell who did the finish as that's obviously not original. The sticker down the front of the shaft is definitely not SC work, they'll only put it down the backside of the shaft, and they won't do it in addition to existing stickers. My guess is somebody bought the sticker on ebay and applied it.

    Thanks VNutz very useful info.

I think I’m best just to enjoy it for what it is, after I stick s lime green Scotty grip on it of course.

I never actually even took note that there quite similar in design.

Maybe that’s why I always liked them, my first putter was a ping zing!

Managed to order a lime green scotty grip, scandalous prices over here in the UK.

Fortunately I know a pro that had a legit one from his wackier days, originals via a uk scotty custom shop which is the only place that stocks them in such a colour is £85
