USPS taking longer to deliver than usual?

I've bought some golf stuff from ebay and all three packages were supposed to be arriving Monday.

All three from different sellers.

However, on USPS website, it says there is a delay and without specific delivery date on it.

Does anyone else experience with the same kind of delay from USPS?

    But the post office isn't.

OP, I've noticed several items of my own coming in behind schedule. Not all items, some come in just fine, but it seems items from farther away lag behind schedule more often. I feel like I remember this happening around this time last year too. Don't know why, but it almost feels like after the holiday rush USPS kind of exhales and slows down a bit. But there were also some big storms last week, and that always bogs things down.

have seen this happen from time to time.

May have something to do with the storm coming through the next couple of days ?

I had one package (purchased on golfwrx) that was delayed for 3-4 business days by USPS. I ordered another shaft 1/7, shipped on 1/8. It was last scanned on the 14th, but no movement since. It was supposed to arrive by the 11th.

I guess it depends on the locations. Some of the items (including this week) were a day early while an item that I shipped out has been delayed at least a day or so. Not sure if this is a trend but I haven't noticed anything abnormal of the shipping times related to USPS.

Yes I’ve had several packages delayed. I’ve been sending a lot of stuff via UPS lately because of it.

Sent a guy a shaft that was 20 miles away and it took 4-5 full days was stuck in transit for awhile. Had irons coming from across the country (LA to ATL) and they got to me in 2 days. Go figure.

USPS really has been slow recently for me too. First it was the holidays, then its bad weather and more federal holidays. So that's probably the hangup. Its almost to the point where I'll pay extra to go with UPS. They're a bit better but nobody is ideal. At least their customer service is better and their tracking seems to be much better.

I've had the same issue. Ordered a shaft earlier this week, got scanned in California and hasn't moved since. USPS is the worst shipping choice IMO.

I had/have this exact same problem. Putter sent from Ohio to PA via Priority Mail on Monday morning. Expected to arrive Wednesday. Tracking didn't budge after the package left the Ohio post office on Monday morning, absolutely no updates other than the "In Transit" message.

Just this afternoon the tracking updated to "Received at PA regional facility". So it took 4/5 days to travel a couple hundred miles.

I mailed a package from PA to CA by USPS Priority on Monday afternoon that arrived at the buyer's door in CA on Wednesday afternoon. So... figure that out.

Incidentally I learned through this process that it is nearly impossible to speak to a live human at USPS. Their automated phone tree is nearly impenetrable (do NOT give a tracking number), and when you finally are put through to customer service, the wait times are hilarious. I was quoted an hour and a half once. No call back option.

Yeah I mailed a golf bag to someone from Charlotte to Ohio on January 7 via Parcel Select. Said it would arrive on January 14.. it’s been sitting in Pittsburgh for 7 days. I called that hub and they said it will probably be another week. Said they were prepping for the winter storm and that is delaying stuff. Over two weeks to be delivered. I know Parcel Select sucks but dang this is awful.

Every set of shaft pulls I have ordered were shipped priority mail and took a week to be delivered. I’m in TN and one set came from Northern Georgia and the other from N.C. Two bordering states.

I’ve got the same issue with a putter that left Florida a week ago on its way to me in North Carolina. Supposed to be here this past Monday so I’ve got my fingers crossed it’ll only be a week late. I talked to my postman this afternoon about it and he told me we can thank amazon for the delays that all amazon packages take precedent and whatever is left on the fringes gets took care of when there’s room.

We live in FL and shipped an item the distance that you could drive in 90 minutes. The package ended up going through New York per the tracking site and took 8 days get to us...

Going through this right now... sold a shaft, printed label on the 9th.. Went to the post office on my lunch hour. The line was about 8 people deep so I just dropped it in the box at the window... 5 days pass, it’s scanned in finally. Another 3 days pass, it’s finally out for delivery... Did I mention I paid for 2 day priority...

I have had several items in January delayed by a few days (not all WRX related). No real external reason for it, as weather wasn’t bad en route. Seems to be the norm rather than the exception right now.

I've had as many things arrive a day or two early as I've had late deliveries.

Ugh, a club I sold on eBay, going a grand total of 130 miles from PA to WV, is now stuck in the "In transit to the next facility" status.

Hopefully the buyer doesn't put this on me.
