The 190G is looking like a real possibility. Normally when the weights move forward dispersion gets squirrelly, but this one seems to actually still be long and tighter in terms of dispersion. I am sure there will be longer drivers out there, but will they be as precise?

The driver is my kryptonite, so what do I know, but I want to try this one.

Driver: Titleist Tsi3 w/HZRDUS Smoke Yellow TX 6.0

Wedges (50/54/58): Callaway Jaws MD5 w/TI S200

Watched some of Mike Newton's reviews... I thought he hit the non G better even though his spin numbers seemed to be higher. It sounds good on video and looks pretty nice. My shop told me they will have them 2/15 and I will for sure be checking them out.

Man am I ever going to give these an honest shot. I've had my heart set on TS3 when the snow goes away but I'm firmly committed to seeing the testing process through on the Mizuno's and pulling the trigger if I like them more. I've been playing Titleist since the 905 and this is the most anticipation I've ever had for a driver.

On a side note, all these reviewers are TERRIBLE compared to TXG. I've haven't watched a review from Shiels, Crossfield or either of these two pheasants since I subscribed to Tour Experience.

My answer to that question is that I don't feel I'm actually limiting the information I get. I find the other reviews quite fluffy and very much lacking in information. The TXG videos eclipse what seemingly all the other reviewers combined try to accomplish. Quite bluntly, I personally get more meaningful information from a TXG video than I would watching almost every other review on the internet in a sitting.

The G was basically the same in terms of distance, sans Newton's one 300 yard bomb with the Standard 190. The dispersion was much tighter with the G, but that could all come down to pairing up the right shaft. Definitely only adding to the intrigue of these new drivers.

There's a good chance we just want different things from an equipment review video. What would you say I'm missing in these other reviews?

TXG is good but I don't see what they do that others don't, plus they seem to have a lot of filler material instead of just getting to the meat and potatoes. I enjoy watching as many people hit the clubs as possible since they don't all swing the same and strike it differently. That will tell me whether it actually has forgiveness or not... This driver is at the top of my list for this year, will be watching all the review videos for sure.

+1. I enjoy the bad reviews as much as the good ones! They can be very unintentionally entertaining.

As for these drivers, they look really great. Sound nice on video. Definitely want to hit them. What I find interesting is it seems players are fitting into one or the other, but no real trend. Keith Mitchell tried the 190G but got better results with the fixed weight head. Others are just the opposite. Is it fair to assume the fixed weight 190 is a little more forgiving than the 190G? Or can the 190G be made just as forgiving via weight settings?

I don’t mind a little draw bias in the big dog.

Different strokes for different folks. I like to take in lots of different reviews and opinions. I don’t care for Crossfiled at all. He’s off my watch list.

TXG is pretty decent but I feel like they tend to ramble on much longer than necessary. . It also doesn’t help that the one guys accent starts to get in my nerves after more than about 15 minutes.

Agreed. Sorry. I read this after my last post. The TXG guys tend to drone on longer than necessary. Gets very old if you want to watch a few videos in a row.

TXG is the truth, the rest are jjust guys hitting balls and blabbering on and on. But, TXG doesn’t carry Mizuno woods so they don’t t test them, maybe they will this year. If your serious golfer go have Ian fit you, if your not anyone will do.

Those guys are the top 4 club review channels (minus instruction channels), IMO. Each one has a different take how to review, what to present, personality, etc. Not bad, not good--just different. Personally, I love the TXG stuff. The only thing they usually don't include are closeups of the club itself. But then again, the other guys usually do a pretty good job of getting different views and angles of the clubs. So they all kind of balance out in the end.

Back on topic...the whole ST line looks phenomenal. Can't wait to test the driver and 3w. I was already planning to get the 18sc's or 919forged so this risks running almost a full mizuno bag. All I need is a Luke Donald mizuno visor and I'm set. Lol.
