P.S. I'm from Dublin

I'm from limerick and i play in ballyneety, otherwise known as limerick county. what course do you play in pingg2 p.s. like your choice of driver, what a club

Yeah it is a sweet driver!! I play in a course called Clontarf Golf Club. It's a short parkland course but its very tight so it makes youy a good driver of the ball

barton shield is the four lowest hcaps in the club playn foursome matchplay against the four lowest from the other club.its one of the gui pennants[jun cup sen cup bruen, purcell and barton shield] whats the barton cup???we dont have it in munster i think

Oh i thought barton cup was all ireland aswell. its a foursomes matchplay knock out comp where there is 5 matches (either 3home 2away or 2home 3away), and the handicaps of each foursomes pairing has to add up to 14 or more

by the way whats the metro cup? we dont have that here either im interested to see what it is

Metro is a comp for people who wer off nine or more the previous year. its only run in the metropolitan area of dublin. its also a knockout matchplay comp with each match having 9 matches (either 5home 4away or 4home 5away). We got beaten in the semis of that this year.

Wat stage of the schools matchplay are uz at at the moment??

we came 2nd in the qualifier for the strokeplay qualifying for the matchplay in october, for the first time in 9 years we didn win it!!!last year we won it by 15 shots and i shot 68 and this year we didn even win it!!!you should have seen the shock on our managers face!!!it was a massive shock becausae we were so complacent.we didn deserve to win but weve promised ourselves were goin to get to the national finals of the strokeplay one at least so hopefully ill c u there bcos ye will deff be there!!!

yeah u might see kearney nd the lads but i wont be there coz the stroke play iz only the best 4 players and im 5th best

U know the All ireland match play finals are on somewhere in cork this year ( I think)

ya they are, not sure what club though, but its near enough to call it home advantage for us!!!!

dont be shy!!! hes good with prices, especially with custom stuff. i was quoted 350euro for my g5 with the v2 and told that the v2 was an extra 50. i went to mike and he said 325 so i was happy.same thing with the 3 wood, was quoted 260 for 3 wood with the v2 and he said he do it for 240.hes good with the custom shafts and clubs because hes a MASSIVE CLUB HO' HIMSELF!!!hes always switchin clubs!!!sure the shop has so much stuff you could spend hours there looking!!!i got a titleist pt 13 off him a month or two ago for 100euro and it was pretty much brand new!

lets just say when you know him the price will be better :cheesy:
