Wailea - Maui Feb 5-7

Going to be on Maui Feb 5-7, 2019. Planning on playing Wailea Gold and Emerald. Open to other options (private clubs with a member would be awesome), but do not have transportation. Anyone going to be around? Probably wanting to play twilight, due to savings.

did you end up playing wailea and any other courses?

ill be out in wailea 10/3-10/8 and trying to plan out which of the wailea courses ill play. im staying at the grand wailea with family so im thinking im just going to limit myself to wailea golf club. also were not getting a rental car either.

im thinking of doing their seahorse deal where you get unlimted play for 3 days at gold and emerald and then you can add $130 for one day unlimted at blue. mainly doing this so i can golf early like before 7am at a discount and still be back to spend time with the family

I did, I only played emerald. great course. the unlimited golf is a good deal, because if the wind blows it is very difficult. so with unlimited you can play around the wind. played one morning and it was great, next day in the afternoon was so hard because of wind and slow as course was packed with people getting twilight deal. you dont need a rental car at all.

how did you get to/from the course? uber or taxi? we're staying at the grand wailea and i wouldve thought the hotel would offer some sort of transpo to the course but they said they dont.

we had a car. but based on where you are staying most everything in wailea is walkable (except the course). so just uber it to the course. getting to the course is the only time we used the car. we walked to the shops, dinner, beach etc.
