For those of you have have played the G400 and the G410 irons is there a noticeable difference in toe side forgiveness between the two sets?
G410 is much superior. Hit some that only half ball was marked on the toe side (out of the grooves, to understand) and still went straight, losing about 25% of distance.

100% agree with the comparison! Toe hits go straight just lose distance.
Took the plunge and picked up a next to new set for 500 bucks in my specs plus the shafts that I was looking for too. Thrilled with slightly smaller profile than previous G models.

When I have time I'm going to write a full detailed season review but in short getting the 410's was the best decision I've made in over 30 years of playing golf.
I got a demo set from GlobalGolf to try with the AWT 2.0 in stiff flex and after hitting them on a Full Swing simulator I am very impressed. The ball flight and spin were a bit high for a 7-iron (18 degrees, 7500 rpm) so the AWT probably isn't the right shaft for me, but the dispersion was still incredible.
I'm still loving the 410's. The finish is looking good despite the dogtrack I regularly play on too. Been playing them pretty much all year and never one time have I gotten a "flier" like the GI haters claim are common. As I've stated previously, use a softish ball and the sound and feel is passable. Hitting the center of the face helps too of course. It's mostly strikes off the center with a hard ball that sound bad. And speaking of strikes off the center...the 410 forgiveness is awesome!
Been playing Mizuno HMP's for the last 5-10 rounds or so coming from G410s. I really, really like the sound and feel of the Mizuno's. For me the Recoils are a better match than the Alta graphite due to the extra heft. I finally broke 80 at my home course for the 1st time ever, which was my number one golf goal. I haven't hit the G410's in a while and I haven't gotten rid of them.
Why am I posting this in the G410 thread? I still miss probably half of my iron shots towards the toe and I know that the G410's are one of the best toe strike forgiveness irons on the market. I think I am going to look into throwing Recoils in the Pings and then give another trial between the two. I do know without a doubt that I do not need the g410 offset at all. I am hopeful that someday we will see a G iron with I offset again. That would be money.
Was fitted for and ordered a set of G410s yesterday, with XP 95 shafts, 1” long black dot. Coming from I15s green dot with AWT regulars. Have my specs changed as I’ve gotten older or was I improperly fit years ago? I’m not smart enough to know. I just know I was tired of missing greens and needed some help. New club fitter has a good reputation and I trust his judgement. He did use the Mizuno Shaft Optimizer with gave a range of shaft possibilities and we worked on it from there. I’m 62 now and not hitting the ball as high or as far as I used to so hoping these help. Looking forward to see what happens.

Out of curiosity. What was your swing speed and carry from the g410 7i with the XP95 ? Did you go R flex or stiff ? I hit the g400 7i with XP95 R last week and liked them a lot.

Not sure of swing speed but carry was 155. Ordered regular and he said he was going to soft step them. I’m not absolutely sure on the carry number I was just relying on him to pick the best combo for me. I will ask when I pick them up and let you know. I was over drawing every thing else we tried and when We got to the XP 95 every shot was straight(ish). So excited about the possibilities.

Did your fitter determine lie angle based on where your shots were actually going or by you hitting off a lie board? Are your i15's also 1" over?
How do these compare to the P790s. I know it's a different club, but 7-UW are money for me, but the 6 is less so, and the 5 iron even less so (but great off the tee). Looking for something more forgiving in the 5-6 iron and possibly the entire set. Easier to hit? More forgiving? Launch and distance.

Had 790’s. Sold them off and went with g410. 790’s are forgiving but can’t touch the g410’s in that category.
Picked mine up yesterday and took them to the range today. Very pleased so far. Higher ball flight and longer than my I15s. Better dispersion also. Like the feel with the XP 95 shafts. Off center hits were better. I’m the type of golfer that has that occasional “where did that come from” ridiculously awful swing and they of course will not help that, but I think I’m going to like these.
Count me in as a believer. It was almost 60 degrees today in the Boston area and I took my set out for a spin. Literally opened the box 2 weeks ago and never hit them until my 4i approach on the opening hole. Amazed. I hit these guys high on the toe almost all day and lost minimal distance with very little dispersion. I got them to be forgiving and that’s what they are. The generous bounce numbers also help on a damp course. Really impressed with Ping.
As I've said numerous times, not sure what Ping did with these but as forgiving as the entire G series has been since the early 2000's the 410's take top honors in the forgiveness category in my opinion. And they look darn good behind the ball.
