G410 Hybrids - New Adjustability including Lie Settings

Like many of you, I have been looking at a lot of the new clubs that have been coming out over the past few weeks and the one thing that intrigued me was the ability to adjust the loft and lie settings on the new Ping G410 Hybrids.

Saw this video on YouTube tonight which shows how it works in real life testing.............

Very interesting and it looks very effective. What do you think?

Now at least you have the option of opening or closing the clubface with the hosel adapter settings! More workability in my opinion!

Combined with the forgiveness of the Ping hybrids, i cant wait to try them!

Had a chance to demo them this past weekend and really liked the added adjustability of the hybrids and fairway woods, especially the 'secret settings' of +/-1* of loft while 3* flat on the lie angle. As much as I hate the fact that I can't use my shafts from previous generations, I do like what they have done to improve the sleeve from a fine tuning perspective.

I've hit these and they are going in my bag! Great look and feel for me. Very easy to hit. Crossover is another great option! ;)

Had a chance to hit the 410 hybos yesterday. I play a baby draw normally if my swing is right.

At neutral I saw a baby draw but the flight wasn't as high as I wanted. I adjusted it to +1 loft / Flat lie and I couldn't get the ball to turn over... slight pushes.

I then adjusted it to the +1.5 loft setting and the baby draw came back with a higher flight.

I play a mostly Ping bag but Ping hybrids could never knock my Exotics hybrids out of the bag. These have a legit shot.

I liked the G400 but I love these. In brief indoor testing, I was getting more distance and forgiveness and the settings really do their job. I'll have at least two in the bag this year.

The reason I've played Ping hybrids for the last 5 years is the fact that their stock lie angles are a bit flatter than most.

Does anyone happen to know the lie angles on the G410 hybrids in the stock hosel position, and is every "flat" setting 3 degrees flat? Ping's website says "Lie angle is an average of the five adjustable loft positions indicated on the hosel", which is completely useless information.

The specs. are on their site. I would take 3* off what is listed on their site. ;)

Unfortunately the exact specs are not on the site...

Contact their customer service, I'm sure they will give you the exact lie angle specs if you ask.

Ordered a set of G410 irons and 1 Hybrid on 1/23. Hybrid came in last Friday and irons haven’t arrived yet.

I went to hit the G410 5 hybrid today and came away very impressed. While I didn't mess with the loft/lie settings, the numbers I was getting were good enough to push my old RBZ's out of the bag.

I was going to get just the 19* to replace my Apex 20, but now I may have to do all 3.....

I demoed the 410 a couple of weeks ago and was love at first strike with the Ping Tour 85 shaft...

very curious about these as my cobra f7 have a very upright lie and the f9 are no longer adjustable necks

I’m interested to nab one of these but man they sit dead shut. Does lofting down open the face any? Considering to go up in loft to drop the loft the full 1.5.... thoughts? Discuss!

anybody tried dialing the 17 down to 15.5？curious to see how it worked

Was hoping to get some feedback on turning down the 17* as well. Debating between getting a 410 LST 3 wood or a 410 2 hybrid and turning it down to 15.5*.

Got to hit these yesterday and have to say I liked them, the demo event didn't have an X flex shafts to test but i got the best results with the Ping Tour 85 stiff.

This might end up pushing the TM Rescue out of the bag, G410 was about 16,4 yards longer carry then mine.

im curious about the 17* turned down to 15.5 also.. I have the 22* turned down to 20.5* and its a beauty.. as straight as my wedge 205 all day

I have the 17* lofted down to 15.5*. It is used as my fairway wood replacement. I don't care any woods in my bag. I have all G410 hybrids - 2 thru 6. I find that I am able to hit it just as long as I hit my old F7 and/or M2 (2017 version) 3 woods. I have an Evenflow black hybrid shaft at 40.5 playing length. Winn Dri Tac Lite oversized grip to help offset cutting down the shaft. I find this set up for me is a winner. I am able to pull it for any shot I need 200+ on. I get a nice ball flight. Miss hits still go a good distance and generally find the fairway. I am a high handicapper so I do have my swing issues, but I love my 2H and how its set up. Just feels good and I have no confidence issues pulling that bad boy from my bag and taking a nice swing with it.
