...for premium balls to test. My fitter has recommended the Pro V1x. I am not “in love” with the ball and would love to hear what other balls with which low spin players have enjoyed success.

    What don’t you like about the V1x?



    Too hard? Too high? Price?



    Too little spin (though I sorta doubt this)?

    Low spin throughout the bag? What is your swing speed?



    I gather you like a ball on the softer feeling side of things. I think you can’t go wrong with B Tour XS, TP5 or Chrome Soft/Chrome Soft X.

    I’m a low spin player, hangover from years of links golf I like to think! I’ve been using the standard pro v and tp5 (both 2017) to great effect last couple of years along with the chromesoft x.



    Despite being low spin I’ve struggled with the v1x since they switched it and the pro v round in characteristics.
