El Tucan’s future career

I wonder if this issue will propel Mr Ortiz, or inhibit his chances to climb his caddyl career? Or, have little to no change?

No change leaning toward improving his career. He stood up for himself when he felt wronged and was supported by nearly everyone. Good on him.

He's gotten a lot of publicity from "the issue" for sure.

I wonder how many pros are looking beyond that and noticing he also caddied a guy to his first win in four years, and are thinking "I could use a win right now too!"

(and as a bonus for myself, I might only have to pay less than half to normal rate)

Absolutely not negatively in his daily professional life at the club/resort, as if anything, he will be more in demand. Regarding being on the bag for any Pro Tourneys that come through his area, well, his popularity and demand for his services will be through the roof, for a lot of reasons, a few mentioned above me, lol.

If this had occurred in the US, he’d be a hero and on the cover of all of the big mags, both golf and regular news rags, along with the news shows and interview segments.

I also really hope that he’s on Kuch’s bag when he returns to defend his Title next season, as neither man said or did anything that a handshake, hug and a check can’t put under the bridge?

I sincerely hope he gets to live out his dream and open up his own business.. Perhaps he can manage the cleaning services for all the pro's when the come back for next years tourney?
