Please feel free to give me an assessment of my current bag. Ive gone back in time on some of the clubs with the philosophy of not chasing distance by buying the latest and greatest and just sticking to what works and what ive played well with in the past.

Current bag based on what I feel comfortable with and hit consistently but not necessarily the longest clubs I’ve ever hit:

Driver: Titleist 910D2 Ahina 72s

Fwy: Titleist 910Fd 13.5 Ahina 80s

Hybrid: Mizuno MP Fli-hi 18* UST proforce 75s

Hybrid: Titleist 503H 22* NV 75s

Irons: Titleist 962 4-P

Wedge: Vokey 452.08

Wedge: Vokey 460.10

Putter: Ping Anser

A little about my game, 9 hcp driver ss 108 mph. Stronger iron and wedge player. Kind of streaky with woods hence the D2 model driver, with it in the bag I’m a little more consistent so its stayed in the bag despite trying M1, epic sz, SLDR and 915D4 with really inconsistent results.

If your set up as listed works for you and are satisfied with it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. That's all that matters.

I see a lot of info on clubs, but nothing about the bag they're in. Hard to rate your bag when we don't know what it is.

Nothing wrong with those clubs. It can keep up with the current stuff out there if your swing is sound.

10.5 deg Titleist 905R with stock UST Proforce V2 Shaft (Stiff flex)
Titleist 990 (3-PW) with stock Dynamic Gold in S300
Taylormade V-Steel 5W & 3W with Grafalloy Prolaunch Red shafts (Regular Flex)
2011 Adams Tom Watson signature wedges in 52 and 56 degrees with stock steel shafts (Player's Grind)
Rife Island Series Aruba Blade Putter

Tough to go wrong with Titleist - particularly the 962s. Some of my favorite irons ever.

Getting strong points for non-Titleist inclusions as well. Mizuno hybrids are a bit of a dark horse, but the Fli-his have strong reputation with good players. The Ping Anser is a classic, obviously.

If I saw your bag sitting on the first tee, I would assume that you were a reasonably accomplished player.

Looks pretty good but you're giving up a lot of yards with that driver. And how are the grooves on those wedges?

True I’m giving up yards but I’m more comfortable with it and know I can hit fairways with it. Everytime I’ve gone to a driver fitting I hit the new stuff way further on trackman. I remember my numbers with the epic sz were almost 280 carry and rolling out to 290ish vs 260 carry and 270 total with the 910 BUT on the course I hit the 910 260-270 and consistently in the fairway.....epic sz was all over the place with 1-2 drives per round hit well and 280-290 but the rest were hard to keep in play.....

You're giving up a couple of yards max on the driver. Over the last 10 years the PGA tour average driving distance has increased 7 yards. New wedges may help a little out of the rough or in wet conditions. The grooves don't really put much spin on the ball from a tight lie in the fairway. That is predominantly done with loft.

Good points......after playing this crazy game for a long time I’ve realized its fairways and greens......some folks definitely benefit from new tech....we have a few youngsters at our club who absolutely kill their drivers.....and they always have the latest and greatest....for me I need to swing within myself and play from the fairway or first cut....im a good enough iron/wedge player to pretty much make par if im in a decent spot after my drive......I dont play in “real” tournaments but I do play in club events, occasionally work or charity outings and I’m in two different yearly “Ryder Cups”, one with my college buddies thats coming up on 20 year anniversary and another at my club between a few of us over 40 geezers and a couple under 40 “youngbucks” as we call them.....not tourney golf but pretty good friendly competition.....

That’s a big gap between your wedges. As long as you can add loft or de-loft , should be ok if you’re skilled enough. Most 2 wedge players go 52/58.
