Wright and Dixon Record irons?

I’m sure there’s a ton of threads in this sub forum just like this but I searched and didn’t see anything on these specific clubs so I thought I’d ask.

I acquired a bag of old golf clubs from someone’s attic who was going to throw them out. They are Wright and Ditson Record irons. I have a 2, 5, 7, and 9 and also a putter. The shafts are steel but have a wrap or something on them that makes them look like wood. From my research, It seems W&D was owned by Spalding but nothing came up for these specific models.

Would you guys be able to tell me when they were made or if they’re something special or not?

1924 was when the USGA first allowed steel shafts. My guess is looking at 1930s or 40s. Are the shafts straight or stepped? I don't think they are anything speciall .... although Wright & Ditson is a pretty cool name in the early days of golf. Around 1900 it THE sporting goods store. One of the founders, George Wright, was a baseball hall of famer. In the 1930s Boston hired Donald Ross to build George Wright Golf Course, and Massachusetts just had the state amateur there last year (after pumping some money into it). One of the early employees for Wright & Ditson was a Scotsman named Alexander Findlay, who ended up building a lot of early golf courses in the Northeast (and supposedly one in Nebraska in 1887!), but the most important Wright & Ditson employee may have been this kid named Francis Ouimet, who ended up winning the 1913 U.S. Open as 20-year-old amateur. Sorry for the trip down Senility Lane, but the value is in the beholder. Wright & Ditson might mean something to someone, but it's not like they were rare.
