I've been using the 52* bent to 53*, and the 56* bent to 58* all year the entire season. Both of them are the MID options, with the 52* being chrome and the 56* being the raw finish, and I see no reason to change. They're very reliable and the spin is great for me. I did have the 58* mid before getting the 56* and bending it week. I had issues digging with it, and the 56* bent weak fixed that for me. I can still open it up and hit high shots off of tight lies if need be. I'm probably going to order 1 more 52* (this time in raw vs. chrome) and 2 more 56* mid before Christmas. I really like them, and don't want to try and find another wedge that works for me for a while.
Anyone own the black finish? Does it wear off or can I dip it in coke/vinegar to get it to raw finish?
Like the black, boxes in the ball at set up, and no glare. Considering a 58* to go with
The 52* I have now. Solid wedge.
Interesting about the digging comment. I wish they sold the 54 with more than 10 bounce
I struggled with the RTX4 58* mid as well, constantly digging. I didn't feel there was enough heel relief in the grind. At first I thought the s400 was a little too heavy, but I went to a DG 115 and still struggled.
Replaced it wit a Vokey Jet Black SM7 58 M grind and no more issues wit digging.
Don't seem to have the problem with the RTX4 54 mid, but with the Vokeys marked down, I picked up a SM7 54M to try as well.
FYI, it looks like they've been marked down, so maybe a replacement on the way....
Also curious on this. I own the black since I’m a lefty and we don’t get the sweet raw finish. Would love to strip it but unsure if it can come off cleanly or no?
Have been using the RTX4's raw 54 mid bounce 60 low bounce since summer (June) and changed from TM HI-Toe.
Fact i could put modus 120 Shaft in at no upcharge was massive for me as such a preference and have them bent 1* flat , my standard irons are 1* upright so i find this helps for the range of shots i may play with the wedges.
Firstly for me they have been very confidence inspiring and i love the classic look , perhaps the TM i felt in my head although good were a bit gimicky ? (who knows alot of that is between the ears ) but deffo feel the 4's have been a worthy investment.
The 60 low bounce not as forgiving in the wet soft conditions for me but through summer months it was great for me , our course is only a par 66 lots of short tough holes and its helped improve my up and downs noticeably this year.
Wear has been good too even in the raw they are just starting to patina in areas adding to the look. The weight i feel is spot on didnt like the RTX 3 it felt clunky to me but worth trying out if you can but they get a thumbs up from me.
Hope this helps
For clubs that need to be replaced as much as wedges do these seem like a no brainer. carls just dropped their price to under $100 which is about half of vokey raws.
What is the X low grind like? Versatile and easy to open? What's closest to L or M grind Vokey?
i would say X-Low would match up to L grind and the Low would be the M. I find the Low 58 to be quite versatile, don’t feel like I need the X Low. YMMV.
They do, buy a 52 with 10 degrees of bounce and bend it to 54. If you need more than 2 additional degrees of bounce, special order a 50 and have them bend it to 54.
Best wedges i've owned. mid bounce is very versatile. love the feel and trajectory.

I do this all the time to get the loft/bounce I want. Works great. Not hard at all to add 2 degrees of bounce to any wedge and it won’t hurt the playability.
Ordered a 50/54/58 raw set 2 weeks and just got notice they are out of the raw. How are people liking the other finishes??
Really like the black, frames the ball well
Finish is holding up better than I thought it would.
i will order a new set tomorrow.
Played 52 56 60 standard bounce all year and loved them. Going to do same setup for 2020 but black this time.
Raw is out of stock on cleveland.com, is there a rtx5 coming? Or rtx4 forged?
I believe the next cycle is due for release September 2020.
I have the raw in 52 and 58 degree. I love mine. Both of mine are the mid bounce. That's what I've always played. And admittedly I can't speak on every brand. Wedges tend to stay in my bag until they're worn out. I played Cleveland wedges for years, then went to Vokeys. Had one set of Mizunos several years ago, but went back to Vokeys. I got these a few months ago and I love everything about them. I definitely haven't had any digging problems. Actually I think the turf interaction is perfect although I don't get very steep with wedges so I really haven't had digging problems with any wedges. If I do, I know before I even made contact it was me, not the wedge. I love the shape and I personally think the TI S400 is fantastic for wedges. Wish I'd thought of that years ago. And out of the sand I've found it to be brilliant. Frankly I find them superior to my last set of Vokeys (Sm6) in every way.
KGeorge, no more vokeys???

I have the 50 head only in Raw and debating if I want to go with Chrome Satin to match my 54 and 58. Hindsight, don't buy on impulse. LOL
Is the v grind rtx 4 similar to the vokey v grind?
Weighing the 58 in low vs mid bounce. I like a low bounce around the green and in the sand but I'm not sure how well it will do with full or 3/4 shots. How well can you open up the mid bounce 58's or 60's for flop shots?
i love these wedges. They are just slighly larger than vokeys but that small increase in size helps 10x in confidence department
I have the mid and low 58. I love the low when the ground is especially hard, but otherwise prefer and play the mid better. This winter has been mild enough to play some hard course conditions and swapping over to the low has helped in that case.
I recently made the switch to the RTX 4 50 54 58 in Satin Black. My friend was telling me that there are different feels when it comes to the 3 finishes that Cleveland offers. I am just curious since I have that PGA Tour Superstore 90 day playability, is there really a difference? My last set of wedges were the tour chrome SM6 and they aged pretty well for 1.5 years. I guess I am looking for which RTX 4 finish would produce the softest feel. Black finish is pretty soft but havent had the chance to try out the tour raw or the tour satin chrome. Thanks for the input everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
To ,make the decision a bit easier you cannot get the raw any more. To give you some real world findings, I've had both the raw and black an could not tell a difference. I actually think the black may be a bit softer if anything.
