If you have problems 'hooking' hybrids, this one will fix that! Great looking/feeling stick! Stock Alta fits best for me. ;)

I got fitted and tried this one too.

I made big hook. I Kno I Kno.. it is me..

New Apex was the most openly sitting hybrid.

410 was easy to launch. It is a good Hybrid like 400.

If you have 400 and hitting it well, I wouldn't change it.

Disagree on 400 vs 410

Adjustability and about 2-3mph faster on ball speed

Kinda get it when it comes to adjustability.

But, for me, hybrids are more like irons aka scoring club.

2-3 ball speed would not be decision making factor for me. Thanks.

Being able to make the lie flatter on the hybrid is a game changer for me

Great hybrid, excellent feel, & plenty of distance. Evenflow Black was the ticket for me. Really nice trajectory & launches flatter than most others I tried but still plenty high enough to hold greens. Great stick

Right, no one wants higher launch and 6 yards more carry with a “scoring” hybrid

Switched from the 400 hybrid to the new 410. Both have tour ad di 85’s. The 410 carries 5-7 yards farther. The feel and sound are noticeably better. The best thing is the ability to flatten the lie angle. The surprise hook is gone now. I thought the 400 was an amazing hybrid but the 410 is the best hybrid I’ve ever played.

I switched from the G to the 410. To me, the 410 seems hotter off the face, and a tad more forgiving than the G. I am using the Tour 85 shaft, and really like it.

Can anyone comment on the two ping shafts on the 410 hybrid? I would like something close to a Diamana whiteboard so I’m think the EvenFlow black might be the way to go unless the Ping shafts are more similar. The option to make flat lie angle adjustments have me sold.

If you are looking for something similar to the Whiteboard it would be the Tensei Pro White Hybrid (unfortunately PING doesnt offer this) the Pro Blue that they offer is a Mid spin/Mid Flight shaft and I would characterize that as such. Which is perfect imo for hybrids. The Pro Blue has a torque rating of 3.1 and plays at about 79grams. The EF Black is a Low/Low shaft with a torque of 3.2 and weight of 85 grams. Both the figures I gave is for Stiff Flex.

If you are looking for something to hold greens I would say go with the Pro Blue just because it will spin more granted your AOA is that similar to an iron. If you are looking for something for straight distance I'd say the PING Tour 85 or EF Black, in my experience they spin less and have lower ball flight.

I went with the Pro Blue as I like the mid kick point and penetrating ball flight. Plus I need it to spin more to hold greens on Par 5's long Par 4's.

Thanks! It’s moreso about my swing. Any graphite shafts that have too much action in the middle of the shaft don’t agree with my swing. I load the shaft pretty good and I don’t reach parallel.

I often look at the shaft specs listed on the Titleist website for information as they provide more details than other OEMs.

Both Ping and Titleist offer the Tensei Pro Blue 80 for their hybrids, and both consider it a mid-high launch shaft.

Both companies offer the Even Flo Black. Titleist considers it a mid-high launch while Ping calls it low launch. Why such a disparity ?

I sure wish Ping would be more like Titleist in both their fitting programs and also in the specs offered on their shaft offerings.

It wasn't that many years ago that Ping listed torque for their shafts.

I got the 19 degree then I ordered the tensei pro blue 80 in 17 degree length for a replacement shaft. This bad boy is better than any 5 wood I’ve ever hit. Actually gives me a solid chance on 5 pars again

I agree with comment above about not liking softer mid shafts that flex. I hated the even flow blue because of this. Does the black feel different? Or is there another option?

YES, me likey mucho! Received mine and really digging the flat lie setting. I likely couldn't play this club without the flat lie option. I was also a bit surprised that the Tensei Blue 85 X flex order is actually a TX flex. Made me a bit nervous at first, but after a few range sessions, I can thankfully say it plays great for me. The shaft has this impression to me that it's going to be too stout, then I get through the ball and it feels great. As for the head, it feels awesome through the ball, very hot off the face but a nice solid feel. Flushed shots feel amazing to me. This club could be a pretty big part of my bag this season. Yesterday, in the cold, with crappy range balls and a rusty winter swing, I was flying the ball as far as some of my longer summer strikes with my old Cally Apex 20 hybo. The only thing I may adjust is get a little heavier weight to up the sw a smidge. Otherwise, color me excited for this one.

So after about two weeks from custom ordering to delivery, I finally got to try out my 17* and 19* with the evenflow blacks. I didn’t have time to try them on ththe range. I just went straight to the tee. I am hitting towering shots (discussed later) that fly further and more controlled than my xr pro hybrids ever did with their stock LZ 70 shafts. I loooved those clubs but I longed for a flatter looking hybrid since I am shorter than your average dude. Until this point, all my clubs (except hybrids) from driver to wedges are all flatter with the help of adjustable necks these days. A slight toe hit with the xr pro hybrids and the ball was destined to hook. Enter the G410. Initially, I enjoyed the mid ball flight with my stock swing, but I still had decided to crank up the loft from standard just to keep my distance gaps in place. I can honestly say my hybrids finally feel like “scoring clubs” like I’ve read over the years. And yes, it helps that the shaft is a better fit this time around too.

I can report on a couple rounds and range sessions with the G410 hybrid.

I have it in 19 degrees (turned up to 20, one degree flat) with the tensei ck blue 80 gram stiff shaft. This club has been awesome. My first hybrid ever was the G400, and while it was good I struggled to get the height I wanted. I tend to hit the ball lower, so being able to adjust the loft is huge. I had a shot 215 to the pin from the rough and the ball came out and climbed beautifully but was roughly 10 yards long! Have to spend a little more time adjusting to the new distances but the flight with this hybrid is amazing.
