    My guess is about 1/4 to 1/2 shot per round.  1-2 per tournament.  Many rely very little on the caddie other than lifting the bag and raking the traps.   "Show up, keep up, shut up"

    Too bad we’ll never know.  The PGA Tour would never leave a hole in the schedule for an event like this, the players would never risk being exposed as needing their caddies too much, and the caddies would fight tooth and nail against it for fear they wouldn’t be needed enough.

    LOL! Toss this thread in with all of the other "If the pros didn't have firm fairways, manicured rough, perfect greens, VIP treatment, marshalls to find lost balls, galleries of fans that balls ricochet off of from trouble back to the fairway, perfect club fittings, trainers, swing coaches, masseuse's and Tour spec fitting vans, they would score the same as me at my home course" .
    Take it all away. Talent still wins out.
    If every golfer played with a "+" at least once they would understand this.
