Want to get people thoughts on which driver to play in 2019. I currently have a Ping G400 with a stock Ping 65g stiff shaft (probably could benefit from a different shaft as well). Several drivers that I'm considering are:

1. PXG GEN 2 X

2. PXG GEN 2 XF

3. TITELIST TS3

4. COBRA F9

5. WISHON

6. OTHER (Please no Callaway or TM as I have ruled them out)

Which driver would you recommend and why? Or would there be no noticeable difference / benefit from my current G400 gammer?

Thanks.

The G400 is a great driver....with that being said I like my TS2 a lot. Forgiveness and distance, I know that wasnt an option but if those two factors are important to you it has my vote. The stock HZRDUS Smoke shaft is also a real good option with either the TS2 or TS3. Good Luck!

Best would be to test them out and compare what looks good to you and works for you. Everyone will have their own answers. Saying that the Wishon 919 in my bag beat the new Titleist TS2 by 12 yards and the TS3 by 4 yards for me when put in my own playing shafts with the same SW. Hoping to do more testing against other current drivers and can't wait to test the new Wishon 519 which is 412cc, must look good at address.

I tried the TS2 today with the Tensei CK Blue shaft. It's nice but couldn't beat my G400 with Tour shaft. G400 is a tough act to beat

Don't discount the ping tour 65 shaft. I've had great results with it. It's always good to test different heads/combo's but the g400 line is tough to beat. Good luck

F9. Great feel, sound, and dispersion. I’ve been playing cally drivers for the last few years (ie Epic SZ, rogue SZ) and the F9 is ahead of those for me.

None of those drivers are going to give you a "upgrade" if you were fitted for the G400.

2019 has lots of great drivers! Comes down to the proper fit and your budget. Bang for your buck, hard to beat F9 and ST-190s. Personally, going G410. image/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
