New Slotline Putter

Slotline, one of golf's all-time best selling putter brands, is back and will be available Fall '08. The Raider, one of 10 new Slotline putters, is 100% CNC milled from 6061 Aluminum, has a total body weight of 340g and contains 176g of Tungsten in the heel/toe. The Raider's MOI reading of 6885 makes it significantly higher than many of todays top brand putters.

I could never get into Slotline putters and never saw anyone use one (other than me). I even tried the Slotline irons!

Hopefully, the rebirth will be better for me.

Played a Slotline back in the day......was definitely a top shelf brand in it's day.

So, is the new Slotline affiliated with the old company in any way or is this just another instance of someone purchasing a brand name and bringing it back from the dead?

Memories indeed...inherited my grandfathers clubs when he passed away about 15 years ago and this was included along with Lynx Predator irons and persimmons. Still have the putter tucked away somewhere I think.

Text on the webpage says that Slotline was purchased by Dynamic Brands which is the parent of BagBoy and AMF Golf.

Looks like you're a new member here. Welcome. I was like you at one time. When I joined this board in 2007 I had used 1 putter since 1984--a Ping Pal. Since I joined I've had about 50 (no joke). Thankfully, I've settled back down to only two. You're in for a wild ride if you stick around here . . .

Are these the models that are selling for $220 on their website? They are friggin awesome looking! I had an old Slotline classic raider bulls eye that made absolutely everything for me. Been a fan ever since. Hope they fair well in their new endeavor

I putted with a Ping Anser II for many years until I lost it. I had a Slotline and foud that losing the Ping was a blessing in disguise. the Slotline felt better and my putting improved greatly as a result.
