I wonder how much weight is on those ears as it looks like you can unscrew it

Being that it appears to be aluminum for the body and solid copper for the "ears", I'd imagine taking the copper off would make it insanely light.

I like the look of the spider but not this

The concept makes sense. Ultralight aluminum body with dense copper to pull the weight low, back and wide for stability. And this putter will be released by summer.

Looks like a winner! I'll have to check it out.

Was thinking about teplacing my beat up Ketsch but now I will wait for this one.

Blatant rip-off. All you guys that bag on Taylormade all the time need to speak up and call this for what it is. The spyder is hugely successful financially and now Ping wants to copy the look and cash in. Shameless.

very surprised no one has mentioned this looks like a better version of the scotty phantom putters that are coming out -- these look clean for sure

Always thought Ping Wack-e was one of the earliest designs of this type of putter.

This was my first thought but not a fan of the neck.

This putter is perfect as it is. It's got full offset, alignment help, high MOI and stability. PING needs to release this ASAP.

Yup. I love my Wack-E; a confidence-building, super-easy to align mallet - with a firm insert and best of all, a PING sound! OK, it looks like a branding iron, but those putts rolling in will tend to stop any sniggers from playing partners...

I made a suggestion to the Ping Tour putter rep that since the back wings screw on the wings should be two separate pieces and made in different material i.e., different weights like the Cameron weights.

Almost. I'd still like a slant neck and/or plumber's neck option. Not a fan of slant necks myself.

Limited edition retail. It's on some websites now. Ranging from $429-449. Wish I could try one 1st and i already have a my spider coming.
