When you see someone using a SeeMore, what is your reaction?

My old SeeMore FGP2 has found it's way back into my bag. I also have an M1 that gets a lot of work in my garage. They are great putters and perform great, but for some reason I can't get the thought out of my head that their system is basically training wheels for putting. Granted, sometimes I need training wheels, especially when I'm practicing and paying attention to face angles, shaft lean, etc.

When you see someone using a SeeMore, do any thoughts come to your mind about it?

I think, "man I dont SeeMany of those" :p

I really don't think anything about anyone's putter when I'm playing with them, but since prompted my first thought is 'Zach Johnson'.

That they are a rarity in golf and playing a putter that works for them

Usually if you have a seemore, you know exactly what you’re looking for in a putter, and you usually putt lights out with it. Ran into an army vet on the putting green with one. Lost an arm while in service too, and putt lights out with it. After trying his, it just wasn’t for me. Prefer the anser style with the plumbers neck. I’m sure if I had more time with the see more I could get use to it, but if it doesn’t fit your eye, it won’t make the bag.

@shredNECTAR they actually make an anser style with a plumbers neck. The Rifle Tech is on the plumbers neck. Model is the DB4.

If I saw a SeeMore I'd ask them how they liked it. But with another other odd or unique putter I pretty much say "What kinda putter is that?" and just have a friendly chat.

I don’t think much of it. Never the one to judge a player by what putter he/she uses. For all I know he putts like Brad Faxon.

A friend of mine who is a 3 hcp. was just fitted for the tri-mallet. He loves the fact that he doesn't have to think about the putter alignment after he selects his line. I like the look of it and am for whatever works for anyone.

I wonder if they really see more.

I guess I just think they like the putter haha. I don’t think it’s training wheels. Just something that gives people confidence in an area that they want/need.

I think that anyone using a seemore obviously plays a good deal of golf and knows a thing or two about equipment. They are not just something you randomly buy off the rack. You have to be looking for one or at least really trying out multiple putters to come across one. What I’m trying to say is, they are not crammed down your throat like odyssey, Ping or TM. Not that those are bad putters they are just what’s front and center generally

SeeMore makes great putters though. It’s a different setup if you use them properly though.

Just grabbed my first one. Sadly, it is a belly putter, but my saw will work fine. Hope the lie is ok for it! Just need to find a head over and I’ll be good to go! Have to support my home state companies.

Besides the obvious benefit of the riflescope technology, what do you like the most about SeeMore? I've always been intrigued by the thought of using a center shafted putter, just never really had the opportunity to try one. I'm a lefty, and there are never any laying around the store for me to pick up and putt a few with.

only played one round with a guy who played one and 4 years later I still don't remember him missing a putt!

I have the Nashville z3c. Also a lefty.

Thats always the problem with being a lefty. Its hard to try before you buy expecially with SeeMore's since there are not that many around. I got a cheap 2nd hand original fgp on a whim and started putting really well with it. If I didnt like it I was gonna sell it on. I eventually upgraded to a Nashville z3c which for me looks & feels so much better and is easier to line up for me. A win win.

Once you get used to the RST and groove it in you don't need to think about set up anymore you can focus purely on line & speed. I found out pretty quickly from using the SeeMore that I was not as consistant on set up as I thought. I also know Seemore putters are face balanced at impact - which helps the putter face return to the same position at impact. Head shapes, looks etc are all presonal preference so that will change for everyone. You need to like the look of your putter and you need to be confident standing over a putt.

Im a much more consistant putter since changing to a SeeMore and is a combination of all of the above. Maybe try find a 2nd hand one and give it a go. The 100% milled putters get expensive.

I still see a few in play at the home course . Usually well worn ... there is a reason why.....

I live in the middle of Payne Stewert country. He grew up and played his junior and high

school golf in the area , including many rounds on the home course . Around the year

2000 they were more popular than Scotty Cameron here.......So when I see a Seemore

in play , I think Payne Stewert fan , that has stuck with what works for them.......

I don't get along real well with center shafted putters , but I do like carbon steel , plumber

neck , light milled face , 1/2 mallets with a little toe hang....My SeeMore DB-4x......

Just sold mine. Never got a good feel for it but I didnt buy a higher end version from them

My playing partner plays a Seemore and never uses the alignment system. Says he forgets it is there, doesn’t look at it and it doesn’t matter. He just uses it like any other flatstick and he is an excellent putter.

If they're in my group, I decline all invitations for a money game. If they're not, I watch what they're doing to see if I can learn anything. Never seen a seemore player that couldn't putt. I keep one to practice with. Helps me focus on using my shoulders instead of my hands.

nope, it's just another putter

I honestly have never seen one on the course or in a store. They have always intrigued me though.
