So what's the feedback score actually mean? I only bought/sold maybe 10-15 things but had good interactions with everyone, only a few left feedback (no negative). Does the 1 feedback score just show I never sold much?
It doesn’t mean anything
You have 1, I have 4, most everyone else has 5. I don't get it.
The don't mean ANYTHING right now.
If/when they get the feedback "system" working again, everybody will have their previous feedback history restored.
This is probably #1 on their priority list but it's taking a loooooong time to program something compatible with this board's software.
I'm fairly sure, when it is installed, everybody will be notified,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
2 things I miss from the old platform...1. BST Feedback. 2. Email notifications for new threads in a specific Forum topic (specifically BST).
Specific to #2...it made it easy for me to sweep through new BST posts in my email and visit the BST threads that I actually wanted to see. Inevitably, I would also poke around other discussion threads. The loss of those notifications has massively reduced my time on GolfWRX and my expenditures on golf equipment.
Number 2 is what I have been waiting on and they reinstated advanced notifications about 5 days ago. There is a thread about it in the parent forum of this section. Basically, edit profile, notification settings, check which forums you’d like to get notifications.
so, now that a feedback number has been implemented. Are we to assume we're not able to see the history of their feedback? i.e what members said about the transaction, link to the transaction, positive/negative? how do you leave feedback now to increase the number?
I don’t think anyone knows yet. I assume it’s a very preliminary first step since you can’t read it or leave new feedback yet. Not being able to see negatives (if it remains that way) will be a huge disappointment. And I say this as someone who doesn’t buy and sell at all, I was just a volunteer mod before the software changed and I think it’s pretty critical to a classifieds section
The feedback is a static number as initially requested. There is no history to refer back too but will be in the new system, when implemented. Commenting in profile for feedback is recommended.
Advanced email notifications is rolled out and we requested feedback but received little so far.
Is there any way to leave new feedback as of today?
Currently, leave feedback on persons profile.

Heaven forbid I leave feedback for multiple transactions😱
Heaven forbid you tell management EXACTLY what you DID that generated that message,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Exactly what I said I did. Left feedback on people's profiles as we've been instructed to do. Pretty clear. But apparently I need to wait 30 seconds between doing so....
Guess I missed where you said that. My bad.
I could have been more clear. Sorry. I'm just growing frustrated by all the issues with this transition.
No worries my friend. You are not alone. The board transition has not gone well.
feedback scores are back!??!
eh when I'm PMing someone it shows a score. Somehow I lost a few hundred points though lol
Yeah, I lost some as well but at least its there...somewhat helpful for now lol
It doesnt seem like this is a priority with as long as this has been going on
we're a year into the new design - i honestly don't think the way feedback once was ISN'T coming back. they got lucky with just getting our feedback "numbers".
the previous design you were able to see links to their ads, positive/negative, comments. you built it up to get different stars and numbers.
now they still have a cluster mess of the user info on the left side under my avatar. like a runon.
While I appreciate the effort that has been put in place it seems like those making the decisions have really underestimated how important feedback was. I just did two transactions one of them with someone with zero. Normally I would have been apprehensive of dealing with someone that was new but this worked out and I'd have left this person a positive and off they'd be going. I had over 100 on the old site, a fact I was proud of. I wanted people to know dealing with me meant they would be happy with our transaction.
Rich Text Editor.
To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
