The bettinardi is sweet though

They have hired a rep to go on tour. He was one the Ex Nike tour reps. I had met him before and we’ were talking about Saks Parente. They are trying to get a presence on all the tours.

The mallet with the red/blue stripes might work well with the new Callaway ball.

Have zero financial interest in the company. And I use a callaway putter. But I know the tour rep for Sacks Parente and was relaying information. I already stated that I didn’t know what he exactly used yesterday . It was stated in pretty good English in my earlier post.

You have been on this site a long time and I like your insights . I don’t try and act like an expert. According to the rep on Wednesday he was using the Sacks Parente.

The Rep was mosty likely mistaken and my main reason for saying that is - just how did Russell get the Sacks Parente putter? I was at ACC for the Match Play and never saw the rep there but I did see Russell putting with the Bettinardi putter that I photographed at Valspar. It does look a lot a like the Sacks Parente putter but while not 100% sure it wasn't one, I'm 99.8% sure. So you're saying there's a chance, a definite maybe.

Did some deeper snooping and that .2% chance is now 100% that Russell did indeed use a Sacks Parente putter on Wednesday according to the Darrell Survey.

At least with the blades, they’re saying they’re very high MOI. Tungsten weights on the toe and heel, and a lightweight insert in the middle to move even more weight to the ends. There might be a small market for a bullseye putter with some tech built in to help forgiveness.

They’re also $600 online and probably not kicking around in many golf shops so I doubt there will be many chances to test drive these things.

$600 dollars?? I am so confused by the prices of all these small companies. Its crazy high. I could see and make sense of $300-$400 but not more than that. especially for putters. People act like milling a putters is rocket science, its really not, and not that expensive either.

I agree. I at least give Scotty a break due to the number of tournaments won and play on tour.

It's crazy how little info their website gives on their putters for that price tag. Is anyone plunking down $600 without even knowing the loft or lie angle of the putter?? Can't even provide specs or pictures of the grip options?

I agree machines are expensive, but you dont need to pay for them in your first batch of putters... I have been looking at carbon putters, they have some very good options, some nice customization and you can get them for a lot less than this.

Had some time with the tour rep for Sacks Parente . The head weighs 360 gm and the shaft and grip are super light weight (60gm total roughly) and that changes the balance point. As a result the putters have a very unique feel, almost like a pop.

Oliver Sacks was such a great man.
