Looking to see if there are any out there about which I'm unaware. My son is 11 years old and we've enjoyed going to independently run run events like the Future Masters in Dothan, AL and the Future Tour Championship in Greenville, MS. Not really looking for FJT, NTPGA, Sneds Tour type stuff, but events run locally. These seem to do a great job of putting the emphasis where it belongs.

How far are you willing to travel? I would highly recommend Events in Texas if you able to travel. There are ton junior events in that part of the country.

One of the better ones is Starburst in Waco and is worth the travel for younger kids. But it may be a little too far for you.

You already mentioned Not wanting FJT type events otherwise I would say look for those. Have you considered playing the major events that some local PGA sections have. some of those events are worth traveling to and are very competitive.

Not that I’m not interested in FJT types, it’s just that I’m aware of those. Trying to see if there’s anything independent out there that I’m not aware of. Starburst looks like a pretty good one. Little on the far side.

I was told about a junior match play style tournament held in Virginia each year but I've got to check and get the name of the event. Maybe someone on here needs to start a big independent tournament for juniors.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
