Starter set for 5'2" woman

Question for everyone- wife wants to give game a try. Any thoughts about this? What about US kids golf 63 clubs? My kids have played them and they have been really nice and affordable. Don't want to invest a lot unless she really takes up the game. Thanks in advance!

i bought Cobra one length for women for my mom 2 years ago ? shes about 5'3, 5'4. i spec'ed out a 7 piece set, made the purchase for xmas. She went from Dick's box set to these. Her 7 iron now stays in the air about 13 seconds longer than her old 7 iron lol. ive been her favorite son for the past 2 years now.

You Can get a very sweet used set of Cobra women's oversize irons for under a hundred dollars. I bought my daughter a set.

Got my wife an Adams combo set. I'm pretty sure the 5-pw set was under 500CAD, then just got some hand-me-down wedges, woods, putter from her mom (in case of OP, perhaps substitute mother in law with used golf equipment store). Works great for her.

That’s what I did. I pierced her a full bag off that site. It’s just something to get her started until she can develop some kind of consistent swing and ball striking, then if she wants, we can go nuts with her clubs.

Should be no problem, unless she has larger hands or swings pretty quick. I have sold junior sets to a lot of beginner women. As others have said too, petite starter packages are also a thing. If I were you, I would see if I could source a used petite Adams Idea set. The extra amount of hybrids they have, offset, and lightweight construction are great for beginners. They even made a little half set too.

Calloway X Series Irons P-6

Cobra Hybrid & 3 Wood

Titleist Vokey wedges (52/56/60)

Oddessey Putter

Wedges & Above (minus the driver, I like that longer for more distance) all custom fitted and cut down for my height.

She will appreciate a nice set of clubs and will more likely take it up/seriously given the investment.

May I ask how much you had to cut down your irons?
