Need swing boost

i would really appreciate it if you could take a short look at my swing.

After playing for a few years i am still struggeling to score below 90. Just had a handful of lessons, mostly self-taught over this time.

Bad contact is happening too often(fat/thin). I am scooping which is maybe related to too strong of a grip resulting in high ball flight. Also trying unsuccessfully to shorten my swing.

Whenever i try to swing more shallow i hit behind the ball.

In this session i focused on staying centred over the ball throughout the swing.

From my seat, there's no reason that swing wouldn't easily break 90 - consistently - at least as far as general ball striking goes. Good work!

Check with a qualified pro on the rest of this. What I might do may or may not line-up with the irreplaceable experience of working with a truly great instructor.

We're it me personally, I might really only tweak three things, which end up working hand-in-hand. Firstly, from DTL I notice a bit more "flying right elbow" / slightly high-handedness at the top. MANY play great golf with this going on. Just offering you to explore getting it to the top with your lead wrist/forearm looking closer to the top of your right shoulder as seen DTL - right elbow a fraction more UNDER the hands and handle up there.

Secondly, start back down by giving your hips a very tiny opening-up move WITHOUT chucking the hands or club while doing so. We're talking about a move so subtle and unforced it merely "let's" the club start back down a touch. Looks like your transition currently is pretty much all hands and arms.

Last, we're it me I'd spend time on letting the wrists feel oily and free to completely release that clubhead thru the strike. The trail elbow might need to work just a little more down in front of you a fraction more so that your wrists can rocket that clubhead speed up without really trying. (And this is why I personally can't fly that elbow in the first place, but others can).

It's all only a hansdsie "flip" when you slap that toe way over the hosel thru the strike and end up post-impact with your trail hand almost facing the ground. It's a hold-off block and/or fade when that trail palm flies up the follow-thru plane facing skyward. So in-between is that "handshake" sort of trail hand and arm - which might be good imagery. Bottom line, a more relaxed-wrists release. Let that clubhead FLY that way rather than stressing, straining, and tensing up the arms or forcing it. (which backfires).
