Srixon Q Star Tour alternative

I ended last year playing the Q star tour and am worried about the new version being lower in compression. I like a soft ball, but already thought the Q star tour was pushing the limits, and now they dropped the compression a couple of points. My swing speed is 95mph, which seems to always put me on the line between target audiences. I ordered a sleeve of MTB blacks. I like the gamer urethane, but it felt like I gave up a few yards. The original callaway chrome was a favorite. AVX and Callaway ERC sound intriguing, but the price does not. Online reviews of the Kirkland 3 piece and the Cut Grey were mediocre. ??

Why not just try the newer qst ball. I found the new qst ball to be better than the older one. My driver swing speed is 102. I think srixon hit a home run with this ball.

Taylormade Project a might be worth a look. I find it indistinguishable from the QST.

I went from playing the QST and 18' CS, to playing the MTB Black in place of the QST and have been very happy with the MTB.

Latest q star tour is a great ball and flights great with the new dimple pattern, same as z series line. This and the latest project a were the two I used all last year. Project A has come along way and I personally think it's as good as the top teir balls for slower swing speeds.

I wouldn't make a move until you try the new QST. If you like yellow, even better. In my opinion a few compression points won't make a difference.

I've played both the new and old QST, we also have roughly the same SS. I love the new QST as it ticks many of the boxes and I am not stuck paying $40+ for a dozen balls that I am likely to lose. I have been wanted to try the MTB line up but they are more expensive than the QST.
