They are great irons. I have been to the range twice with them and got the first round in today. They are soft and have the feel that many associate with miura. They look gorgeous too.

They look bigger than the old CB 301's. I am tempted to buy the old set on Ebay. Hit them and they were sweet

Personally, JP preferred the Macgregor PCB Tours to the Miura cb301 that we’re considered to be based on the Macgregors. The Miura’s were a slightly bigger head than the PCB Tours, had more of a sole/maybe bounce too and seemed less of a players cb as they looked almost bulky in comparison. Still, even with the now even bigger new 301 head, he Would love to try the new cb301s, as they look fine. Most every Miura he’s hit has mostly feel kind of unique, dense, solid. Not soft like Mizuno or Onoff, which can be almost gooey with soft balls.

Forgiveness is higher than a spouse on cheat day.

Can you update us on your experience with the CB-301? What shaft did you go with? Any more pics? Thanks.

Mother Nature hasn’t cooperated with my schedule so I haven’t got in as much playing time or range time as I would like. I got lucky and was able to get out twice last week and a range session yesterday. Feel/sound imo is what people expect when from miura. On off center hits or when just missing the flush contact the sound change is noticeable but not anywhere near harsh...you know from sound and feel in the hands it wasn’t perfect. Distance wise I see about a 5-7 yard loss on off center hits. Overall distance is what I’m used to getting with similar lofted irons. I was telling a couple buddies these are firmly in the bag for awhile

I went with recoil 110 f4 shafts. I don’t have any recent pics. I’m hoping to get out later today and I’ll grab some if I do.

Any top down pics next to some ordinary retail irons like an apex pro 19, srixon zxxx, mizuno, titleist ap2?

Long blade lengths no? Looking at the 7i it looks almost as wide as the ping i210s. Maybe more AP2-esque
