Ping pal 4

So i have been on the search for a blade putter now for a little while, i have a wilson 8802 milled on its way but today i had some store credit to use up at play it again sports and found this Ping Pal 4...i liked the feel and the looks of it so i said why not try it?

I really like this design (and the Pal 2). Both won many tour events in their day. If it suits your eye, it will still do a great job!

I do like the look and feel of it, need to replace the grip though, thinking of staying with the same style. If it wasnt so smooth and hard i would keep it....that didnt sound right...lol

If you really think about it Ping had the most copied designs out of most of the manufactures, the Answer and answer 2 i think the most. They had a Answer 2i? In the same shop but it was LH, i actually am left handed but golf right handed, also left eye dominant and lack vision in my right eye messes with me putting LH

My first putter was a Ping Pal 2 (flow neck) and similar to this. Circa 1982 makes it a early millennial putter. A lite cast stainless putter head compared to today's putters but seemed like every pro in the 1980's rolled a Ping. New cost like $110.00

I love the Pal 4 and Sonoma Two, I think I actually square the putter better with that flange that I do typical Anser styles. Nice find.

I cant wait to get this one one the course and give her a solid try, i called my local shop yesterday evening and was told to replace the grip with a standard ping man grip it would be $9.00 installed. Cant beat that

Nice putter. I should use mine more often. I have too many to choose from!

Hi..practicing on the man cave carpet with just 12 of my putters I noticed like you that the wide flange with the long white alignment line on my black (think it was supposed to be black vs the stainless steel tarnishing or something???) made me notice that I was setting up with the face a bit open. Why go to Florida when you can practice on the man cave carpet??

Like others here I made a great find at second chance sports a year ago...think I paid $20 and it had a brand new blackout pingman grip. i didn't use it thinking it was too short because it had been cut down to 33", but I am seeing that it is working well with my arms hanging down more than with my 35" putters. ..seems like I rock my shoulders more.

lol...just noticed in the pics it's a pal 6....lol..better wear my glasses more..lol

Still have mine. It makes it out for about 1 round a year. Works best for me on faster greens.
