Might try to play one of these late afternoon on the 26th of may, what would you recommend, what one would have faster greens and better practice facility. May end up playing one on mourning of 27th also. Thanks

Ill get alot disagreement Im sure PH Jones is best course but the greens and condition at Waverly Oaks is better. I think the big cause is PH does ALOT of outings. PH practice facility is far superior.

Courses are pretty similar in style along with CrossWinds in the same area. Agree Pinehills has the better practice facilities. I'm playing Waverly next Saturday so can give you a report afterwards.

Agree on Waverley being better greens. Pine hills far better practice facility

Just played waverly for the first time. I’ve played both Pinehills courses numerous times. The Waverly front 9 is probably the best of the bunch but the back 9 was so gimmicky. For a full 18 I’ve got to say that PH Jones is my favorite of the bunch. Can’t go wrong with any of the courses.

As others have said, PH has a much better practice area and clubhouse.

Well, I can't tell you a whole lot about the Waverly conditions. It's just too early, they've had zero warm days so far so the greens are still a mess, punched, sandy, etc. They still roll surprisingly well though. I'm sure they'll be fine in a month or so. We also played in 20-30 mph winds, so club selection was a challenge.

I do agree there are some gimmicky holes. #9 is the worst, a short par 4 that forces a layup off the tee and then a tough blind uphill approach shot. The greens on #13 and #14 are a joke, should be blown up and re-done.

The redeeming feature of the day was a very nice selection of beers on draft in the restaurant and good wings.

FWIW, I would rank as follows
    1. PH - Jones
    2. Waverly
    3. PH - Nicklaus

Played another good Plymouth course today, Atlantic CC. It's in great shape and a bargain price, too.

I'm a big fan of pinehills. I just wish it was closer to Boston. The $55 fee after 3:30pm is pretty hard to beat.
