There seems to be a lot of G400 Max fans including me. What shaft are you using and swing speed? I currently use the Tour 65 stiff. Swing speed 95-98.

SS low 90's, Xtorsion Copper 60 Stiff (was fit into that). Given my swing, I fell on the border between regular and stiff flex, was better tip-stiff and counter-balanced.

Xtorsion Copper 60 Stiff. My swing speed is 98-102. I can turn it over easily and get a little more distance with this shaft.

Low to mid 90’s ss. Tour 65 stiff as well. Great control with the shaft and I feel like I can be aggressive with it when I need to

Pretty much the same specs for me. I originally got the Alta shaft but it never felt correct and I switched back to the Tour 65 shaft I've had in my older G20 driver. Much more stable feeling.

I had been using the TFC 419 reg shaft from my g30 driver playing 1/2 inch short at 45.25”. I put the Tour 65 reg flex in about 2 weeks ago and it was just fine. This past weekend I put the stock Alta CB 55 reg flex shaft and the club came alive for me. SS low 90s with the driver, smooth transition and delivery.

Tour 65 Stiff, delofted (8-degrees?) I'd like a little less loft, actually. Great club, though. Oh, my swing was measured around 105 to 111. But, I think it varies quite a bit. Carrying drives 255 on the course when swinging well.

Tour AD-IZ. Driver playing at 44.5" with adjusted weights to get it back to original swing weight. Not sure of SS. Mid to upper 90's on a swing caddie last November was the last I saw it.

102 mph swing (according to the fitter), stock Alta shaft. I tried the others, but the stock shaft is great. Best driver I've ever owned and it's not even close. If I put any type of decent swing on it, I get a high straight bomb.

    121 mph SS

Tried the HZRDUS T1100 but still to high launch and to much draw bias.
This thing is perfect for guys in the 100-110 Ss IMO.

The guys on tour with access to to the lowest digital lofted heads and all the hot melt might be on to something though

110-115mph . RIP Beta (green eyes) 60x. Tried a RIP Phenom 50X but launch and spin were a bit high. I could probably go a little more tip stiff but performance so far this year has been great.

I would be curious if anyone with a 110+ SS actually found the MAX to be the "longest" driver for them in testing. I'd be surprised if it was but everyone's swing is different. I find it to be a higher spinning head.

It's crazy straight. I mean i just whale away and it goes down the middle. But even with an 80g low spin shaft it is a good 10yds shorter than my F8+ with a 60g shaft

Alternating between the stock Alta CB and the Tour 65. I've had a couple rounds and a couple range sessions with each but honestly can't tell a big difference in performance.

112 + or - a few mph swing speed. I have the tour 75x. My fitter watched me hit multiple balls and said we can try a bunch of different shafts, but you'll be hard pressed to beat those numbers. Love this driver, the tour shaft is so good for me.

SS between 100-105 and use a TP6 cut down to 44.25”. When hit on the sweet spot it produces mid flight bombs. Haven’t had on monitor so don’t know spin rate but get decent roll out.

I do hit the Alta a tad higher and like the feel a little more, but the consistency with the Tour 65 is why it is the main one for me.

In the above, are you using a stiff in both shafts or stiff in Alta and regular in Tour? The reason I ask is isn't that a more comparable profile than stiff in both?
