that's actually a pretty good field ... tournament has a great atmosphere about it ... nice, laid back place on the beach ... different golf course than they're used to ... can take the family, hang out, have a drink and de-stress a bit ... probably one of my top 10 tournaments to watch ... would love to attend it one year ...

While most years this event feels like a "letdown" due to it being after The Masters; I have a special interest in this year's event since I'm playing the course in late June on vacation.

Really a decent field for the week after the Masters. If this tournament was any other week, it would be a lot more popular.

think it's a great date ... they can simply drive over ... international players can get another shot at a pga tour win, with less top competition ... lot of the top folks will take zurich off regardless ... you get some older golfers each year that are very recognizable that probably didn't make the masters ... someone has to follow the masters, and there's no guarantee the tournament would get a premiere slot if it didn't ...

Pay attention to how many of the guys playing will have an RBC logo on their left sleeve. Thats why they showed up. Its also why they showed up to the Canadian Open the week after the British.

Always feel sorry for the RBC. Great event but following on from The Masters in any year is a tough sell. Following on from this Masters it is gong to be a complete downer.

The next European Tour event isn't until next week in Morocco, so they were able to beef up the field a bit with those additions.

Really nice to a stronger field this year, Hilton Head is just an awesome course and requires some proper shot shaping.

Given how poor Speith is off the tee and tee to green for far in 2019 I'm surprised he would play at a course as narrow as HT.

I love this course, played there years ago and really enjoyed my round. I’d love to attend one year, maybe when I finally win the Masters lottery.

I think it’s a great date, very relaxed atmosphere following a major and they never have a problem drawing a good field. I’d love to see Luke Donald win this week, he needs some good results and he always plays well here.

Looking at the weather forecast for Friday - it's going to be very difficult. 100% for rain, with some storms very severe. My windsurfing site forecasts the winds at 27, gusting close to 50mph. There is a gale warning for the offshore waters.
