What would you do with these iron numbers.

Looking for some input on some numbers I am getting with some new to me irons. The set is JPX 900 tour, Nippon 120X shafts, standard specs as of now. Below is a list of the typical numbers i was getting on good strikes today on a Foresight monitor at a PGA Tour Superstore practice bay this morning. The lesser strikes were typically 5-6 less mph in ball speed and 5-10 yards less carry.

4i Ball Speed 128, Launch 14*, Carry 186-190, BS 4800-5000, Peak Height 30yds

5i Ball Speed 126, Launch 16*, Carry 183-188, BS 5400, Peak Height 34yds

7i Ball Speed 115, Launch 21*, Carry 158-164, BS 6500, Peak Height 36yds

9i Ball Speed 105, Launch 25.5*, Carry 134-137, BS 8600, Peak height 36yds

My question or concern is that my launch is too high and peak height is a bit high as well. How much will bending them a degree strong help in bringing down launch? Obviously the 4 iron is not enough longer than the 5 iron, but I typically don't play one anyway. Just looking for some insight on what others would do with numbers like these. Go ahead and play them? Tweak it? Or try something drastic like a shaft to get launch down for more optimal flight? I also have a set of 718 AP2 with the same shaft but softstepped, and a quarter inch longer that I get pretty similar numbers with.

There is a BIG MISFIT somewhere....

Your BALL SPEED should NOT drop with 11 mph between 2 clubs, so those LOFTS should be looked over

...., but is SW dialed in or just "standard"? it takes more than lofts thats off to make such a huge difference on ball speed, so club specs in general need a closer look. (5 mpg ball speed from iron to iron is expected)

Tweak of lofts on irons = Static change / 2 = launch difference, so 1* = 0.5* on launch (rule of thumb)

I did not hit the 6iron or 8iron today so I did not include those numbers. That is why there is an 11 mph difference between clubs in my post.

The only really off bit there is the 4i numbers. You're getting less ball speed and more spin than you should which could be either due to a loft that is out of spec (weak) or a difference in your delivery causing more dynamic loft (casting/helping the ball up). Otherwise those numbers look within normal ranges.

He posted 5/7/9i data. 10-11mph ball speed delta between a 7 and 9 seems about right
