Help me find a putter that matches these specs!

Been rolling a 2014 Newport 2.5 for the last year or so. I love the feel but I've been changing my stroke lately and I made the mistake of trying out my buddy's putter this weekend (we've all been there). I LOVED the specs of it, just not the putter itself.

I am looking for a putter similar to the Cobra Perth II except a nicer, top of the line model from Bettinardi, Scotty, Odyssey, Taylormade, etc. The perth II felt very clicky and cheap or else I'd just go out and buy that model. The specs I am looking for are as follows:

* Single Bend Shaft

* Moon shaped (see: Perth II)

* Face Balanced

* Non insert/Milled preferred but not necessary.

Please help!

Like an hour ago I recommended the TaylorMade TP Collection Berwick to another member here, but I think that recommendation fits here as well. Lol.

It’s got an insert, but a metal one. Think it has a double bend, not a single bend though, not sure if that’s a turn off for you. Nice putter.

On second thought, if you can find an Odyssey Protype #5, that might be something. Also a double bend though.

I think maybe the Ping Piper putters usually have a single bend. There is one in the Vault 2.0 line. They look weird to me from address, but I think that’s because I’m not used to looking at a single bend.

That would be a preferred model since the '14 would feel like my current putter. Are the GoLo 5 models face balanced? I have a SBST/slight arc stroke.

I think Golo 5 has a little toe hang but could be wrong. Oslo I believe can be either face balanced or a little toe hang. I’ve tried a few Golo 5’s & owned an Oslo but didn’t keep it long as I need a decent amount of toe hang.

Golo’s Have like 1/8 toe hang but there as close to straight back straight thru as your gonna get from Scotty. Bettinardi has a few that look like that. I’d look at the studio stock from this year or last year’s BB line.

Ping Redwood Piper C

Check out "Kevin Burns" putters like his 9303. These are great feeling putter and are reasonable priced on Ebay. It might not check all the boxes because some have a copper insert (sometimes hidden) and double bent shafts (not sure if face balanced). Made in USA and 100% milled with high quality on par with Bettinardi just half the price.

Bettinardi Studio Stock #3 which you could find used. Or if new the Studio Stock 38. The other would be Argolf Avalon, I have one coming, should be here next week.

Second the SS38. There’s also the BB39 you can look into with a similar design.

This Cobra might be one of a kind. You will need to figure out if that single-bend is 100% face balanced.

Its going to be tough to find a non-insert and non-milled face putter. Looks like someone else above spotted this Betti mallet as well. BB39. This one is close. Only other one I can think of would be the 2015 Ping Cadence Ketsch mallets.

That old Cobra putter also doesn't look very square and the shaft angle looks like it could be flat - might just be photo. It could be specs for a slight arc, with a shut face, 1* of loft and 3* flat. Anyways, I have been in the same boat. I used my dad's Ben Hogan Radial putter for a few rounds a while back. He bought new early 80s. I could never find the same specs/feel/set up in another putter.

I haven't had a chance to see the Ping Vault 2.0 Piper in person yet. I know it has been out for over a year, but I live in a small town where there is only 1 golf shop and the putter selection is very minimal. From all of the pictures that I have seen, it looks to have a double bend shaft on it.... i really cant tell. Does anyone know if it is a single bend or double bend?

Not trying to be rude, but that's the picture of the Piper that I was referring to. I cant tell if that's a double or single bend shaft. Looks double to me. I emailed Ping to ask.
