Pxg quality issues

Anyone had any quality issues with the finish on the pxg gen2 drivers in particular?

can you provide any insight as to what type of finish issues you're talking about? ie the black on the bottom? black on the face? crown?

Crown, mostly although I’ve heard about faces splitting?

Scuffs, bubbling, poor paint finish?

This is now the 2nd I’ve had that will be returned and the 3rd I’ve seen in as many weeks? All brand new!

Could this be why we are seeing delays in shipping?

I’ll add some images of a brand new driver received today!

Thoughts appreciated.

My question - what's that thing?

If the driver performed, I honestly can't say that any of the blemishes you indicate would bother me terribly.

But then again, I'm not paying the better part of $600 for a new driver.

If I was to spend $600, and I did receive the head in your photos, I imagine I would be a bit disappointed.

I have one ordered sure hope it doesn’t show up with cosmetic defects. I promise it will be sent back. BB

Thats a jumper toy for almost walking little children. he had to sneak into the babies room to take the picture so is wife either didnt think he was crazy for taking a picture of a golf club. or B. does not know he has said golf club. hahaha

It also kinda looks like a child block for a wall radiator heater right behind it. It is 100% a kids room. Or a room where little kids frequent.

Tell PXG you want another one.

I'm sure blocking the radiator is listed under "other uses" for that child's jumper toy. As is chocking a car's tire to prevent it from rolling.

Guys you’ve made my day!! Just happened to be the nearest window in the playroom, it’s called a jumperoo! Awesome for keeping a 7 month old quiet and in one safe place for 5 minutes!

As for pxg after speaking to the sales manager and explaining all the history he told me to send it back to the retailer and order from another place with no admission of issues or fault!!!!! Yep honestly! So I went nuclear and got hold of dr parsons himself! Problem now resolved and faith somewhat restored, shame it had to get to this stage! If the new one isn’t mint I’ll be back in touch!

wait, a PXG rep said to take a back and order another one?? From somewhere else?? Can you give a bit more detail?

It’s all sorted now, hence why I was appalled! He told me that the head should be sent back to retailer (Bare in mind it’s the 2nd faulty head) and get a refund could take weeks then order from another retailer......verbatim! Basically blaming the retailer for faults and delays! Complete BS now sorted though! Well hopefully!

LOL - the PXG guy can afford the nuclear option, the rest of us just hoping we can steal a brick to throw. ;-)
