What is it about the f9 that you were able to move away from two driver versions in the past like f8 and f8+?

Hello! I’m blown away by the technology and engineering that goes into making your driver. I also think it’s incredibly innovative to have the milled face on the driver.

My question is, how difficult is it to keep being creative in a highly populated market? Is it a challenge coming up with different innovations and adjustments year after year? Also, what new concept did you think was going to be groundbreaking that didn’t pan out?

Cobra,

With several other manufactures releasing smaller headed drivers or low spin models these days is Cobra looking to do the same with the F9. A driver similar to the F9 Speedback Fairway Tour would be amazing.

Loyal cobra OG here!

 

I’ve been playing your Ltd pro model since release now. I love it for its fade setting and flat lie angle. I’ve noticed recent drivers across oems have gotten more upright. Does cobra have any plans on offering pro models with the fade/flatter specs us wrxers so desire. Especially in the fairway models. Low spin weight in the front is good, but face angle / lie is important too!

With regards to the limits on clubhead design forced upon you by the ruling bodies. Where do you see technology going in the next 5 years? Where can improvements come from?

How about a suggestion?

Since TM just released an "original one", why not release a limited edition of Tiger's old King Cobra driver with modern tech. Similar graphics/shape. Small head, deep face, hot face, and weight tech. You can skip the x100 steel shaft.

 

My question in though any benefit for irons with the grind same as the trusty rusty wedges (the concave on the back sole). They seem to help a lot on hard tight lies.

I play the F6 Baffler with the heavy weight back. What in the F9 line up would be an upgrade for the Baffler?

with the success of Scotty and Bob Vokey with Titleist and Sean Toulon at Odyssey/Callaway, has Cobra considered acquiring Edel (given history with Bryson) or another specialty manufacturer? Same question about taking advantage of Cobra/Puma distribution to leverage acquisition of a Snell/Vice indy ball manufacturer.

I have several friends that opted for cobra one length irons as opposed to traditional lengths and I've personally see the improvement with dispersion and their ability to keep to one side of the fairway (most are mid to high cappers). If i hadn't just upgraded my irons recently, I believe i would've given one-length irons a chance, too. Do you see this as more of a fad/niche market or something that you can see growing and seeing more wide-spread use?

Thanks for taking time to discuss product with us? Regarding the f9 tour fairways, what sort of variation in ball speed and spin are you seeing in vertical direction? How is consistency/ forgiveness of face managed to keep reasonable spin for loft for strikes? I am asking because playing a different fairway at moment and has been difficult to displace from the bag because like being able to launch higher with less spin off tee on strikes higher on face, then hit down a bit more off deck and strike slightly lower on face generating a bit less distance spin. Know sounded like a highly technical question, not seeking any proprietary info., just very interested in the f9 tour fairways at initial test, certainly passes my eye test and interested in testing further, so would appreciate any response.
