My understanding is that it is a blade and a replacement for the MB-001

I find it hard to see what will replace the MB-001. The new baby blade has the Y grind so that is a clue that the grind is going to be there .

A smaller head MB-001, but then you are entering the new baby blade territory, I just find it hard to see how they can best the MB-001.

its just something I heard from 2 separate ADs. No idea what to expect, would imagine its not a major change, but a more widely produced traditional blade is a "new" model. It seems the official replacement of the CB-57, BB, and MB-001 is happening

What are you considering the replacement for the CB-57?

Nothing alike. Own the CB-57. Like, hit and wouldn't mind a set of 301. But they are nothing alike.

didn't say alike. Just said replacement. Who's to say they'll come out with something just like the CB-57 again.

Ok. To clarify.

The 301 isn't a replacement for the CB-57.

The intended audience is not the same.

He’s not signed to a typical endorsement deal. Miura does not pay him to play their clubs, instead he has exclusive rights to distribute their clubs in LatAm (I may be off slightly here with but that’s the gist of his deal).

Try decades. It is really quite sad. Just picked up the new wedges though, they are noticeably different from the old ones. Had Callaway MD4s for a while but Miura always seems to pull me back.

I certainly feel for the plight of the leftie - BUT - MIURA HAS A LEFTY ONLY SPLIT CAVITY SET THAT IS WAAAAYYYYYYYYY BETTER THAN 301!!!!

I love the new protos, though I also love my 1008s - some of which are rusting nicely. Looks like the new protos will make a nice mixed set with the 501s should one want to go that route. They kinda remind me of the old Tourstage stuff which I was a fan of.

That said, with Mizuno teasing an MP-29 esq new set - I have a lot of saving to do...

The more I look at them, the more they look like what the Callaway Apex might look like if they'd done it right and actually forged them.
