Swing Caddie SC300

I think I saw this v mevo on another post, but any experience with the new swing caddie? Online reviews seem positive.

You are actually better off going to an instructor who has access to either a trackman or gc4 you will get better data and it save you money in the long run. The cheaper devices are not as accurate and become obsolete pretty quick. You also don't want to rely too much on numbers either a couple of times a year on a trackman is usually all you need.

I have a SC200. Very Accurate numbers with the Swing Speed, Ball Speed, Smash Factor (just a formula anyway). Have tested next to a Flight Scope and Trackman with the numbers no more or less the 1 mph off. Carry and Total yards are not accurate because it can't see spin or launch angle. From what I understand, the SC300 will show spin when using the app on your phone, just not sure if it is actually reading the spin or it is using a formula. At that price range, I would buy the Mevo as it will give more information. Darter has a Mevo and likes it a lot.

We have the mevo and Swing speed appear to be accurate. I find the distance to be pretty close as well. I got it about a week after a trackman session with her coach and the driver numbers were almost identical. I trust it for its accuracy. I mean like all things it has to be set up correctly to be accurate but I think it good value if you are a data person.

It also depends on what you are looking for. We use the Swing U app for distance on the course and it is really accurate for a GPS. Laser shot last night and the most it was off was 3 yards.

Tested it side by side my Flightscope and it wasn’t close.

Youtube videos seem to hammer out the same results. Not bad on short shots up to around 150 yards but once you get out of that it gets really wonky. Also, from my experience any of the lower priced monitors (ES 12-14, Swing Caddie, etc) cannot accurately read anything but a standard full shot. The formulas simply can't handle it otherwise so you are only getting accurate readings with a full shot. If you know this going in, and you are only using it for that, it is what it is.

This is most definitely true with the SC200. Only thing it is good for in my opinion is swing speed of the driver. You get to wedges and it is worthless.
