Your State's Golf Mt. Rushmore

Recently read an article talking about each states Mt. Rushmore of musicians. Got me thinking about the same thing for golf. I think Texas roster of Crenshaw, Hogan, Nelson & Trevino w/ Kathy Whitworth & Betsy Rawls on the bench is tough to beat. What's your state have?

This week`s Starting Line-Up:

B-Stone J815 w/ Fubuki ZT 60, Stiff
B-Stone J15 3 & 5 w/Fubuki ZT 75, Stiff
910H 21* w/ Diamana Ahina, Stiff
B-Stone J40 Combo set w/ Steelfiber i95, Stiff, 5 - Pw
52*, 56*, 60* Vokey SM5's

Here are my suggestions for Yorkshire in the UK (North, South, East, and West). I'm going by birth only, just like the old Yorkshire county cricket club rules, otherwise I would have included Colin Montgomery, who was raised in West Yorkshire and went to Leeds (spit) Grammar School.
Designer: Alistair MacKenzie (West Yorks): Yorkshire-born, Scottish heritage, which should have made him the tightest sod on the planet.
Player: Danny Willett (South Yorks): His pasty-looking face would be perfect for the white rock of Mt. Rushmore....
Coach: Pete Cowen (South Yorks): Top-level coach. 'nuff said.
Caddy: Billy Foster (West Yorkshire): I'd love to play a round with him. Think he played at Bingley St Ives, which is where I hit my first ever golf ball.

I went for a mix of course designer, player, coach, and caddy, because the sculptures on Mount Rushmore are supposed to represent four different stages in America.
    Have I overlooked anyone?

4w: TaylorMade R9 stock Fujikura Motore X flex

Hybrid: RomaRo iBrid 23* Attas EZ 85S
    Irons (4i-PW): Wilson fg-62 S300 4/5-PW or MP4 Yoro Modus 125X 5-PW
    Wedges: Callaway MD2 T-grind combination of 52*, 56*, 58*, 60*
    Putter: Mac Jack Nicklaus Muirfield

Old stuff: Tons of persimmon and older irons.

Though it's not my home state, I've lived in Virginia for quite a while now, so I'll go with:
Snead, L. Wadkins, Strange, and Vinny Giles

Pretty obvious I meant JC. The guy went back-to-back at the Andy Williams-San Diego Open back in the 70's, and that's hard to overlook.

OK, New Jersey. I don't believe we have any of the top 10 golfers of all time but we have Pine Valley (#1), Baltusrol, Trump Bedminster, Seaview, Ridgewood, and many other great courses.

Always thought that it was an odd move. And to move to the flatlander part of the state doubly so.ill still take him.

I'd disagree with the Steve Flesch pick. JB Holmes and Justin Thomas are bigger names to the state. And if we're getting really nitty gritty Gay and Steve were not born in the state...

California: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Billy Casper, Johnny Miller.
(No room for Ken Venturi. And others I’ve missed?)
    Better than Texas?

I think Hale was around STL in the 80-90's. At least I'm pretty sure his son won some HS/JR events in the area back then.

Pretty close but I'd argue Crenshaw over Casper cinches it. Of course I'm biased but not even playing the Babe Zaharias, Harvey Penick et al card
