Stroke Lab shaft availability

Hey Gang!

I tried out a Toulon Las Vegas with a shaft lab shaft and loved it. Now before I pull the trigger on one I wanted to see if anyone has heard of anybody getting just a shaft.

I currently have an Odyssey Tank #7 that was a belly putter and cut down to 33 inches. I like it but I really just liked the feel of that shaft lab shaft.

Is it possible to get just a shaft lab shaft? I check ebay you can see people have searched for it but there currently are not any for sale there.

check out stability putter shafts....that's making waves over the putter shaft market

I have been considering that shaft too. Need to get a chance to try one. Thats what made me start looking at the Stroke Lab. It made a difference on the first put I stroked with it and only got better with every putt after that. The Stability shaft does sound interesting as well. I've listened to both of the podcast episodes of the Gear Dive with Johnny Wonder where he talks to the guys in charge of the Stability shaft and to Mr. Toulon in regards to the Stroke Lab putters. Both I believe mention that the two different types of shafts are very different. Got to go try that Stability, so I can make a true comparison.

Another putter shaft I might throw in there is the UST Frequency Filtered Putter shaft. I'm not 100% sure where it compares to the stability shaft but it might be close to that. Also it's $50 or so to your door from Golf Works.

As for the stroke lab that a completely unique shaft, being 75g it will be hard or a long time before something similar comes out.

What's the difference in the profile of the 75g stroke lab shaft and say a recoil f4 or something similar? Could you not find a light iron shaft to use in there instead?

Possibly but would probably have to be done by someone with access to many shafts to test this all out.

I'm tempted to give it a go. I want to change my grip anyway. might as well pull the shaft at the same time. if I don't like it I can just put the original back in.

That is true. If you find something similar or really nice in comparison report back with what you went with.
