Cleveland RTX 4 wedge grind help!!

Looking for the proper grind here. What is the closest grind they make to a vokey s grind? Is that the mid grind? I’ve also had a lot or most of my success with a TVD K grind. The TVD K had heel relief compared to the newer K. I would have to get on a grinding wheel for the new one. Looking for a 58 and need a bit wider sole with some heel relief preferably.

**S GRIND**

Design based on feedback from Steve Stricker, the S is best for square faced shots with a touch more versatility than the F Grind. Simple mechanics are best with this wedge.

**RTX-4 Tour Satin MID (2 DOT)**

The ••MID sole features a V-Shaped sole for smooth full shot performance and crisp pitch shots around the green. Perfect for golfers with neutral or steep attack angles, ••MID is available in 46° - 60° lofts.

The S GRIND and the RTX-4 MID appear quite similar. The best way to compare would be at an outdoor demo day where you could test off of actual turf. Note that shafts will influence performance.

Rtx 4 is kind of heavy. I bought the ultra low grind. And a Cally Mack 4, Mack 4 is much lighter. Just FYI

So I have a 50, 54 and 58 Mizuno T7 wedge. I like them fine, but I am a little inconsistent around the greens with the 58 with 8 bounce. It digs sometimes and the ball slides up the face a bit. I’m a really good short game player. It’s my strong suit. But I just know something isn’t totally right with this bounce on the T7 58/8. I was an up and down machine with the Vokey TVD k. It has wider sole and heel relief. They got rid of this version and the K grind now is not the same. The heel is much more squared and I bounce into the ball. I would have to get one and grind the heel off.

I really like the way the RTX 4 raw looks. Hoping to find on that kind of matches up. Seems the mid is similar to the k or I could buy the full and grind it...

If you wanted to stay "in house," you might try the Mizuno S18 wedge. This model offers a 58°/12 head, and a review says it has a somewhat rounded sole so you can open the face and still keep the leading edge low.
