Original MTB vs. MTB Black and MTB-X

So I played the B330S, then the TP5/TP5x and Srixon XV. Before those I played the original Snell MTB, no red or black or X. I broke the last ones I had out for a round on Sunday and was still pretty impressed, and was wondering......

What are the differences in the original MTB vs. MTB-Black or MTB-X? I guess if there is one thing I have never been sold on with the original MTB it would be too much short iron full shot spin. Based on what I have read the MTB Black seems to be the most like the original MTB. Is that what you guys are seeing?

The MTB Black is very similar to the original MTB, softer and maybe slightly longer off the driver. I like them equally well.

You might be better off asking this same question in the 155 page Snell Golf Ball thread on the first page. People in there are very knowledgeable and quick to respond. Dean Snell is also very active in that thread and regularly answers questions.
