Thanks for the confirmation, is this a good tournament for spectators? I've only ever been to the Bridgestone Inv and really enjoyed my time there, wondering how this one compares if anyone can chime in?

I go every year. Muirfield Village is great for spectators, but if you're wanting to see the entire course it is quite the walk. A lot of elevation changes. If you don't want to go far away from the clubhouse, sitting off the 9th green is a pretty solid spot. The course is stunning and the setting always puts a smile on my face. You'll love it and walk away very impressed. It blows the Bridgestone Inv away. My only complaint is the food options or the lack thereof. Eat before you go if you can.

Nothing wrong with a little walking! It is golf after all. Agree about better than Firestone (been a few of times to both). Haven't been though since I left OSU. Bonus: Columbus Zoo is super close and one of the best in the country if you are into that stuff.

Excellent venue, I saw the President's Cup when it was there. Agree with earlier sentiments that there is some elevation change, but I also camped out on some par 3's and at the tee boxes of some longer holes. Absolutely a well run venue.

A great spot to hangout for a little bit is behind the 12th tee. It's kind of hard to get to but you'll get super close to the players and a nice down the line view of the 12th tee shot (which is basically a replica of 12 at Augusta). From this spot you can also watch a little bit of the players approach shots into the 11 green and you can watch the approach shots on 13 (although it's not easy to see the 13 green from here).

My favorite part about this spot is that it's generally not busy because it's harder to get to. Its a good spot to if you need a little rest or break from a bigger crowd but still want to watch some golf on a great hole.

I did this last year and it worked out fine. Just make sure you order in plenty of time to get your tickets. Mine didn't come as quickly as they said they would and I was starting to get nervous.

I didn't find the course tough to walk, but then again I walk almost every course I play (except for super hilly courses or those with long hikes between tee boxes). I went on Thursday, stayed all day and walked the course twice; following 4 groups for 9 holes each. Actually, I parked between 1 and 10 while everyone was teeing off; was probably 20 feet from Tiger, ahead of him and to his right. Once everyone was done I walked backward from 9 until I caught the group i wanted to follow on #5.

The shuttle ride from the zoo parking lot takes a while, and then the walk from the front gate to the course is pretty long, so count on probably 45 minutes or so from the time you get on the shuttle until you're actually on the course.

It should be good all week. Ask them at the gate though.
