Who's better?

Im saying Brooks is just a more talented player and has a better mental game.

So you're saying that Brooks could be in your #squad

Rory has been really solid overall but hasn't been closing. Brooks seems to be stepping up in big moments. Recency bias will say Brooks, but Rory's run 2011-2014 was similarly impressive to Brooks' last two years. I think time will say Rory, but right now in a major you take Brooks.

Rory has definitely had the better career by a large margin, despite only being a year older than Brooks. However, it’s hard not to argue that Brooks is currently the better player by a hair. Rory is a stats darling, and he’s still statistically better than Brooks in almost every category, except for total driving and fairway %, but Brooks seems to be statistically better when it counts the most. Rory appears to be content with who is, where as Brooks plays with a chip and plays like he still has something to prove. So if the question is who’s career would I rather have at the moment, give me Rory. If the question is who I’ve got in the US Open, give me Brooks.

Rory turned pro in 2007 while BK turned pro in 2012 since he went to college. So yes he has more wins, but also had teed it up 44 more times. How many more majors/tournaments does BK win in the next 44 starts?

As things currently stand right now, this minute, I'd say Brooks. The eye test tells me he's stronger mentally and a better putter. I think Rory is the better overall ball-striker, but for the last couple of years it seems like he's been searching for a mental strategy that works for him, and consequently, he's been a bit lost out there when it comes to getting it done.

It will be interesting to see how BK handles the dark periods that inevitably come in this game....

Brooks. Right now I don't think it should be up for debate... long term? Hard to say, but if I had to bet now, Koepka looks like he could build a better resume if he keeps playing like he is in majors.

i like them both a lot. but i do not think brooks has the natural ability that Rors has. if only this little b@stard could putt he could have closed out a lot more and even a few this season. someone mentioned above about swagger and brooks, if rory walked around like that or even talked the talk half as good bruce, he might start believing in himself standing over that little ball on the dance floor.

ps get rid of harry and grab a new looper. you probably could afford bones!

Remember when Tim Herron and Carl Pettersson got fit? Same thing happened to Rory - he needs to go to Sonic or Five Guys. As of now Rory.....more wins. You are what your record is.

Brooks now and in the future. McIlroy will never win another major. Koepka will likely win a boat load.

Forget physical skills, just look at their mental games. Koepka is probably the toughest player since Woods in terms of mental strength. McIlroy could barely be more fragile in that department, especially when the pressure's on.
