Adidas Tour360 XT SL vs Nike Lunar Control Vapor 2 sizing comparison?

Recommended Posts

As title, recently I’m digging into tour360 XT SL (wide), but the shop here does not have my size (US9.5W, for Nike’s lunar control vapor2) in stock now. They have US10W, and I felt it “seems” to fit well. I’m not sure if I should go ahead to take them, or still order a 9.5W.

Anyone tried and compared the size of these 2 shoes?

Thanks, no worry, I might have an answer for you on Wednesday - I ordered Tour360 XT SL 9.5W and it will come on Tuesday. Will see if it fits well or 10W fits better. Actually I'm curious whether this shoe is popular as I never saw any person wearing it here.

Here's my $.02 on the topic. The original LCV's were much narrower than the LCV2's, I learned this the hard way when I ordered the 2's in a wide. For comparison the LCV2's in a regular width fit my foot fine, I ordered the XT SL's in a wide simply because all adidas shoes seem narrow to me. The ST SL fit width wise great, but the weird part is the height of the shoe is a bit of an issue, I'm not sure I'm describing it right but it's what it feels like to me. When I lace them up you can see a lot of the tongue when looking down at them, like my foot is coming out of the top of the shoe too much. The comfort is there, no rubbing in the heel it just feels a little different. Again LCV2's regular width, ST SL's wides.

Hope this helps.

> ^^^ sweet! Thanks man!! Looking forward to your review.

I received today and I tried it at night with my "fat" feet after a day's walking. 9.5W is perfect, length is right, and pleasantly surprised about the width. It's wider than my LCV2 9.5W. Will play a round in them tomorrow and will report back.

Thanks, this is about the same experience as I have. I actually feel even LCV2 wide version, it's still narrower than my lunar command2 (which should be the same sole as LC3 and 4). And tour360 XT SL wide version is actually even wider. As for the height of tour360 XT SL, yes, I also felt so. Will play tomorrow and see if the height can be an issue. Tks.

Update, yesterday was the first round playing & walking in my tour360 XT SL. The good thing is after 18 holes, my feet still felt good without sour / pain. The bad thing is, I got my skin scraped off on my left heel when I got to around 6th hole. So the rest of round was kind of painful for me. I never had the same issue with my other Nike shoes including LCV2. Will need to give it a couple rounds to decide whether this is just before the break-in, or it’s really not suitable for my feet (or only left foot).
