I made two putters

Hello!

I just recieved two putters on the mail which I have designed and had milled by my supplier, thought I´d share them with you WRXers.

Designed in CAD by me and then milled in two single blocks of SS303. What you see is straight out from the mill. Hopefully I will be able to give them a light beadblasted finish within the near future and some nice translucent red in the Tiger dots. I simply love the anser 2 shape and did my best to perfect it. I wanted to blend a square look with a smooth and soft look and think I did pretty well.

If you have any questions, I will be very happy to try answer them.

The first one features a standard plumbers neck with a 3/4 offset. It weights in at exactly 340g and has a loft of 3 degrees, a nice Tri-sole with 1 degree of draft and a Tiger dot in the cavity and on the face. Will fit a 0.370 shaft.

The second one features a flow neck with 1/2 - 3/4 offset. It weights in at exactly 330g due to a lighter neck and has a loft of 3 degrees, a nice Tri-sole with 1 degree of draft and a Tiger dot in the cavity as well on the face. This one will fit a 0.355 shaft.

The top line thickness was one of the toughest desicions to make, but I went with a little thicker as it is more confidence inspiring for me :)

Oh wow, I love the look of that little flow neck. I think you nailed that blended square look as well.

Thank you! I absolutely love flow necks, and I really nailed this one. It was a pain to design but it was worth it!

How long was it between the time the putter was initially "finished" and when you submitted the CAD? I'd probably spend six months alone just going over and over and over it doing unnecessary tweaking.

I cant remember how many times I changed, tweaked or added on the design. But I am 100% satisfied with these two which is a nice feeling.

Hopefully next week I will bead blast it at work. After that is assembly and then paintfill at some point. Will update the thread when something happends.

Bump the headweight up to 350-355g on the Anser 2 shape and I'd buy one!

I was struggling to decide headweight but I have always used 350+ and wanted to try a lighter head :) doubt that these will ever go for sale anyway ;)

Thank you, I consider myself lucky that my job is infront of CAD all day long.

Look great for sure but for me to have interest they would need some face milling and a touch more weight on the flow neck. Prefer 350 but could live with 345 or so.
