Looking to rebuild my Golf Wardrobe

As I'm starting to play in more tournaments in the summer I would like some suggestions for what essentials I should get for my wardrobe. I like brands such as Footjoy and Nike are my main two that I wear.

Boardwalker pants and shorts from linksoul are great. Peter Millar shirts look really good as well.

wonderful, glad to hear of your involvement/commitment . What is your attitude , clothing reflects your attitude .

Peter Millar FJ for more conservative outings. Puma and Nike when you want some flair. Dunning and UA shorts are great. I'm with 2puttom depends on your attitude along with the even you are playing. For example I'm probably dressing different for a 4 man scramble with coolers of beer on every hole than I am at my club championship.

I like to be pretty straightforward. I don't wear any flashy colors. So pretty much the basics as I like to keep a competitive but fun mindset when I play.

I checked out the Linksoul based on this thread and really like the looks

I love Linksoul shorts, not a huge fan of the shirts though

Oakley shirts, Nike Pants.

If you like the tech fabric, check out Matte Grey/Haus of grey. They're still doing a warehouse sale I believe. What I've found is that if you're ordering both shorts/pants and polos, they'll match styles up. I've done that twice and been really pleased.

Also second the Linksoul comments, I have a ton their stuff too. Really top notch.

RLX and Polo Golf. There’s a reason their brand ambassadors get high remarks as best-dressed in the Style Forum here.

Will they stay high, that is the question. i have yet to find a solution to this.

I second the linksoul!!!!!

Hard to go wrong with Polo and RLX. So much of that stuff has great crossover appeal which means you are not limited to wearing it for golf.

Holderness & Bourne.

Go for any brand that fits you well. Also, look for timeless colors/patterns. That way, you can wear them for years without going out of style. Personally for me, I love the Bonobos golf line and most of Nike's golf apparel.

Do you just pay retail? Do they ever offer discounts?

Man, I buy shirts and pants off ebay all the time with great success. Been buying XL footjoy shirts for around $15-$25. Some have a small logo, some don't. Most people selling them have a Best Offer option and most take the offer you give from my experience. I haven't received a single one that's looks like it's been used. Starting to buy Peter Millar shorts on there too. First pair I bought were new with tag. $22.

well first, you cant mix your brands

but seriously don't mix your brands.

Second, go with solid shorts. Start with a pair of black, khaki and stone and/or gray. These colors match all the other colors.

Third, socks need to match the color of the shoes

If wearing long pants the socks should match the pants, not the shoes.

Your belt needs to match the color of the shoes, the exception is if the belt is the same color (very close) as the pants

Really appreciate all the feedback! Will give ebay a look and keep an eye put at my courses pro shop that I work at!

I got two pairs of Greg Norman Travel Pants at Costco for under $20 each, some of the best golf pants I have ever owned.

Head to your local TJ Maxx or Nordstrom Rack and you can find awesome deals on golf apparel. I've picked up Greyson polos at TJ Maxx for $29.99. Nordstrom Rack carries brands like Ted Baker Golf, Nike, Callaway and Original Penguin. You just have to be patient and be willing to sift through lots of racks. Another place is an online shop like Trendy Golf or Function 18. Both always has great sales. Pants...Bonobos. Best I have ever worn.
