SParms Sun Sleeves

Anyone have an experience with this brand? In particular if they stay cool. As someone who is worried about over exposure I want to try these worry they will be hot when it’s 100 degrees and 70 per event humidity. I see they have a strong LPGA presence so there has to be something to the.

I have used them but my previous instructor uses them and loves them for fit and comfort. There’s several lpga members who use them

I haven't used SParms and wouldn't because of the $35 price tag. What I do use are cheap Chinese ones that I get from eBay. I use them during the cooler months though - when its not cold enough for a jacket. The summer here is brutal and I just apply sunscreen and reapply after 9 holes. The science behind the product is pretty simple though and the ones I get claim to be "UV protection." They usually last several years.

I’m always looking for good solar sleeves. I have the Nike ones now and they have served me well. Thought about giving the adidas ones a go.

I have been very happy with sun sleeves from UVOIDER. The sleeves are light weight and are cooler than using sunscreen.

I use the Nike ones too for the summer because they are thinner. I have the Adidas ones too, they are thicker so I use them during the cooler spring and fall.

I’ve use Nike sleeves and feel that they not only stop my arms from getting burnt, they help prevent sweat from running down my arms to my hands soaking my gloves and eventually my grips. 
 

I’ve gone as far as when I wear them, I don’t wear a glove here in the panhandle of FL. Makes the $28 price tag not so bad when you don’t have to carry three $10 gloves a round. 

The SParms ones are thinner than the Nike ones and the couple cheap ones I got on Amazon. They're definitely more comfortable.

I don't really find any sleeves great in high humidity, but for a regular warm day I wouldn't trade the SParms for any of the others.

I currently use SParms.  They keep you arms cooler by wicking away sweat and keeping sunlight off your skin and they do it very well.  Worth the investment.

I've used the SParms "shawl' sleeves for the last 2 months here in TX.  These are much better (lighter, cooler, better fitting) than the Nike ones and better than the Pearl Izumi cycling sleeves I used to wear while riding centuries in 90-100 degree heat. They do not make me feel any warmer, and when there's even a slight breeze, my arms feel a little cooler.  I can't comment on durability as I've only worn them for 10 rounds and a couple light cycling rides, but they seem to be holding up well so far.

I'm a fan and will buy more if I ever need to.  

I use super cheap amazon/eBay ones very often and at 100+ degrees all the time. I find them very cool and prefer them to sunscreen. Mine are white to help with heat but get washed after every use in the laundry. 

I have been wearing sleeves for 5+ years in Arizona in summer and winter. Pretty much tried all the brands. Sparms are the best sleeves I have wore. Paid around $25 for them. Comfortable and durable. 

They are the best sleeves that I have ever worn and the SParm shawls are awesome also .  I really got to test them out over the past month and found that both the full body and shawls are comfortable in the hot and humid temps we were experiencing and never once did I feel overheated except for the day that I went straight to the course from an appointment and forgot to pack them in my bag!  They are really soft to the touch and create a barrier that allows for cooling when the wind blows.  The shawls may look weird at first but they are great and there is no other company that makes anything even similar and they flat out work if you don't want to wear the full shirt sleeves as they have a mock neck on them and the shawls obviously don't.  I think I paid $22 bucks each on tgw.com and I much prefer sleeves to sunblock after really giving them a full assessment.

The Footjoy material is thicker than the SParms material from my experience but they are still nice. I will wear them in cooler temps.

Coolibar makes them as well.  Making sure they use materials safe for your skin. I have yet to wear them but bought a pair.
